The premium Finnish T-50 “Nikki,” especially with its add-on armour, is seriously impressive. I’ve bounced a ridiculous number of shots from Pz IVs and Shermans and T-34s, and it honestly feels like the KV-1 now has a real competitor for the title of most heavily armoured low-tier tank.
And that’s not even mentioning that the T-50 was already a volumetric nightmare to deal with.
The 45mm 20-K cannon is also surprisingly effective at close range, especially if you know where to aim and target weak spots.
So the question is: is the Finnish T-50 overpowered at 3.0? Should it be moved up to 3.3 or 3.7- or, if that’s still not enough(would be possibly excessive)… 4.0?
I haven’t played it, but I can hardly imagine that it would be better than a T-34.
Abit smaller, front edges are angled so its harder to not aim for the voulemetric mess and its about 2x~ as fast lol, gun handling could be way better but its not bad for what it is
Weaker gun, better mobility, better arnor(compared to T-34 mod.1940) so I say 3.3

Me when I do good in a alright vehicle: maybe I should make it unplayable because I got lucky.

bt-7m is still incredibly good at 4.0 so… i would agrue the 20-k isnt bad

Sure but again that’s like saying just because I can kill an Abrams and T80 with an M22 that it should be 12.7, the T50 is average

Yeah so is the BT-42, now should it be 8.0 because I can usually pull 5 or so kills at most BR’s around 7.0 in it?

The fact of the matter is neither the T-50 fin nor the T-126 are 3.3 Sherman or T34 good. I can get in most low BR tanks and do good but they shouldn’t go up.
The Sherman 105 def should be 3.3 tho

That’s always been finland though. Seriously like 90% of their unique and solid lineup filler stuff is always a cash grab compared to other sub nations. The stingray wasn’t premium for example

I hope the developers will add the Patria series to the regular tech tree soon. The regular Swedish tech tree doesn’t have a single decent modern wheeled vehicle.

Nah I hope they will give them to everyone else as TT and make Finland more prem/event vehicles so people can’t access them
If the Swedish tech tree becomes difficult to obtain, perhaps through event rewards, I’m worried that fewer players will play it. The developers seem to prioritize fixing bugs in weapons from tech trees with many players and implementing more appealing weapons. If there are fewer players, they won’t benefit as much. Additionally, if the number of new players decreases and only veteran players remain, there’s a concern that the Swedish tech tree might become overrated and its BR (Battle Rating) could rise, similar to what happened with France.
Fewer players should play it, if gaijin realizes it’s not earning money from it then they’ll stop adding stuff and thus can’t screw the tree over anymore than they already have lmao.
Seriously Finland was the worst subnation added because of how it failed to fix anything but 1 BR gap. Everything else was moot as they didn’t focus on adding proper gap fillers. It’s clear gaijin has no idea outside of just milking money

Ngl one of the reasons I went to play France and grind to 7.7 was because the BRs in general were more enjoyable than me playing Sweden.

The BT-42 is literally a BT-7 with a giant turret, long reload and super slow turret traverse.
There’s nothing about it that makes it even remotely better than having a 45mm cannon at low tier.
