as you can clearly see from my first post before your snarky reply, i did look around, because i was actually waiting for it to appear, after watching the countdown, and noting nothing appearing on the minimap, and ‘looking around trying to spot it’…
I’d love to see more aircraft at 8.0 to 9.3. Spading my Imp Chaparral has been quite the chore because there are hardly any fixed wing aircraft and it won’t lock helicopters above 2km, and the M247 is just about the same except it cal kill helicopters better than fixed wings. Such a joy to sit most of the game and do nothing in an SPAA because you can’t kill tanks effectively and no aircraft spawn. The Gepard is way different though, it’s a better vehicle than the Marders and gets a radar guided gun for aircraft. More CAS to shoot down please.

Have you even thought of reporting your issue with the map not rendering the markers as a bug, or checking that your settings or crew skills aren’t at fault? Like, damn…
There is a trick, you can still be alive after getting bombed right underneath you, but its a bit expensive, the solution is (279) ;)
When you get the proximity shells the M247 turns into one of the best/most fun SPAA. It’s very very deadly. And until you get that shell it’s nothing but a frustrating experience.
And yes spading the Caparral was horrible! 9.3 is awful - nothing but uptiers and very few games with planes.
Yea, I love the M247 with the proxy rounds. A short burst usually makes short work of helicopters. Planes are a bit trickier, but still killable. The Chaparral is really good for planes, but there are almost no planes, The helicopters can’t be locked onto except for very short ranges, which doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. I tried to find info on the seeker but I couldn’t.
reporting issues?
no, and ill tell you why, making issue reports requires dxdiags, letters from both my great granparents, and screenshots, which btw the function of such the game renders inoperable.
my printscreen button never works ingame.
no point raising issues, they just come back with some bs or other, its not worth the time taken to generate one.
