Bit of an… Early nuke, how tf
arcade?
UPDATE: Nirvana7125-live got it
Go to your main War Thunder installation directory (where the game is installed), then, Open up the config.blk file using Notepad or Notepad++ (i reccomend notepad, its more stable), Scroll down until you find the block that starts with debug{ and add this exact line inside that block:
testLocalization:b=yes
(if it says testLocalization:b=no, change it to yes.)
Launch War Thunder normally one time and
The game will read that debug line and automatically generate a new folder named lang right inside your main War Thunder directory, filled with a bunch of .csv files and a localization.blk file. then,
Close the game.
Inside the lang folder, you’ll see separate .csv files for different parts of the game (like units.csv for vehicle names, missions_texts.csv for objective info, menu.csv, etc.).
Open the .csv files with a text editor like Notepad++ (avoid regular Notepad if you’re handling massive files, as it can mess with formatting).
Make sure you are editing the column that corresponds to your game’s language (e.g., the English column).
and if you look up “killstreak” in units.csv, you can find the nuke planes. copy and paste the nuclear symbol and you can put it onto whatever plane you want.
P:S: If You’re just changing text strings (like renaming a vehicle display name or changing UI text). This only changes how things read on your end and won’t affect actual gameplay mechanics or break Easy anti cheat. Keep everything encoded in UTF-8 so the game doesn’t throw a fit or crash on startup.
Also, you can see vehicles stats in this
WINDOWS:
Documents\My Games\WarThunder\Saves<your-user-id-number>\production\UserSights\
(Youre user ID is a bunch of numbers)
in UserSights or Production you can see some .blk files. go into them if you want. but they aren’t usersights. whatever you do, DON’T CHANGE THEM!
Seriously, it’s gonna trigger easy anti cheat and BAN you. don’t do this. please. It has the stats of every vehicle you own. i know some of you will start to go spelunking into that thing, DONT.
So you’re just changing the normal B-29’s name. I don’t think localisation mod would trigger anti cheat
I still wouldn’t try, the anti cheat is pretty sensitive and if you accidentally trigger it they usually won’t unban you
