note: resuggested from the old forum

I would like to suggest quite unusual vehicle, which can also bring an interesting ingenious Italian weapon to the game.

The F333E is the prototype of a light armored vehicle, never entered into mass production, designed by Ferrari Engineering of Turin.

Its main functions are those of fast patrolling, reconnaissance and support for weapons and electronic means; small, fast, manageable and well armed, it is a vehicle suitable for different types of terrain and slopes, thanks to the four driving wheels.

In its construction a steel armor was used to guarantee protection against bullets of 7.62 NATO caliber ; the rims are fitted with “run flat” type Good Year tires (ie they can allow the vehicle to drive even if punctured), and can be replaced with railway wheels to allow rails to be driven.

The two 50 litres explosion-proof tanks each allow a considerable autonomy: 800km on the road and 1000km on rail, at a speed of 60km / h. Thanks to the low weight and small dimensions, the armored car can also be dropped at low altitude or transported by helicopter . The main armament options consist from Italian recoilless rifle Folgore, Milan and Tow missiles, flame throwers and 2 different types of machine guns.

More detailed information about variants (for the game Anti-tank configuration is suggested):

The manufacturer has suggested the following basic variants of the F333E:

Scout
This would have a two-man crew and be armed with a bow-mounted 5.56 mm machine gun and a roof-mounted 12.7 mm machine gun. The former would have an elevation of +25 degrees, depression of -10 degrees and a total traverse of 50 degrees. A total of 2000 rounds of ammunition are carried for this weapon in boxes of 200 rounds. The roof-mounted 12.7 mm M2 HB machine gun has an elevation of +50 degrees, depression of -15 degrees and a total traverse of 360 degrees, with 500 rounds of ammunition being carried in boxes of 100 rounds.

Anti-tank
This would have a two-man crew and have the same bow-mounted 5.56 mm machine gun as the scout model. Anti-tank armament consists of a Folgore weapon with an elevation of +20 degrees, depression of -6 degrees and a total traverse of 360 degrees; 8 projectiles are carried. As an alternative to the Folgore a Euromissile MILAN ATGW launcher and four missiles can be carried.

Anti-riot/Basic fighter
This would have a two- or three-man crew and have the same bow-mounted 5.56 mm machine gun as the anti-tank and scout models. In addition, mounted on the roof is a 7.62 mm machine gun with an elevation of +45 degrees, depression of -15 degrees and a total traverse of 360 degrees, with 2000 rounds of ammunition being carried. In either side door is a firing port through which a weapon can be safely used with an elevation of +45 degrees, depression of +20 degrees and a total traverse of 90 degrees. As an alternative a flame thrower can be fitted in place of the bow-mounted 5.56 mm machine gun.

Commando
Three-man crew and fitted only with the bow-mounted 5.56 mm machine gun with a maximum payload of 200 kg being carried, including explosives, small arms and supplies.

An even lower-tier Fiat 6614 - please add it just for the salt from the heavy tank players.
