Due to the current event and limited time available on my side I had to try to push through the 45k point grind in Top Tier, as that takes less time (for me).
While playing TT I came across a number of issues that need to be addressed.
@Smin1080p_WT I’ve not found a feedback form that would allow the players to report any feedback on specific issues or even in a general form, so please see this post as my feedback to the Devs, specifically on Top Tier.
Maps
A few steps have already been taken i nthe right direction to provide the players with larger maps. However, you still run into small maps ~30% of the time which are made for slow and cumbersome vehicles. When you have tanks at +60km/h speed you run into the enemy within 30s and another 30s later you’re either dead or the enemy is already spawncamping you. The maps have not “grown” with the game and the capabilities of the vehicles and it shows.
CAS & SPAA
There is plenty of feedback on the forum already, so let me try to put this in a few sentences.
CAS has a significant and match deciding influence on any GRB round. The capabilities of Helicopters and planes in TT are significant to the point where a single plane (or helicopter) can fire Air-to-Ground-Missiles from outside SPAA range on multiple targets due to the internal guidence system of the missile. There is no SPAA in game that has a similar capability. The range difference between SPAA and CAS is significant. Ground RB needs more capable SPAAs that can engage over longer distances and still allow you effective control over the missile. Same also goes for the radar system of said SPAAs and last but not least, any SPAA is worthless if the enemy can spawncamp you and the map offers no position to place a SPAA with a moderate amount of cover.
Modules
The golden rule in Top Tier is who shoots (and hits) first lives longer. However, it is important that your round is actually capable of penetrating. Ground RB matches are relatively long, because the players can spawn several vehicles, so the amount of RP you get per vehicle to upgrade it can be…limited, especially when you start the grind on a stock vehicle. Since there is no dynamic BR that would take the different levels of capabilities into consideration, it would be a great change to put the useful modules, such as TVD and the best rounds into a lower modification level, like level 2 nd not 4.
This way people have a better chance to not only “hit” an enemy tank, but to also do some damage.
There are plenty of issues at high tier as well, but thats for another day.
It would be great if this feedback is received as intended, as a constructive feedback to the Devs.
