gaijin obsiously got their PID program wrong. now the pl12 get never reach the marked overload of 38g. they need to fix it.
I think the PL12/PL1A is completely ruined. That’s not the kind of missile a top-tier jet should be stuck with. I don’t get why Gaijin always seems to screw over Chinese and US stuff — first the AIM-7f, the AIM-120A/C, and now the PL12.
This is not hard to understand, because in reality, the equipment of China and the United States is stronger than that of the most powerful countries in War Thunder.
Is there a community administrator who can step in? Could you tell us if our feedback has been submitted to the development team? It’s Monday now, Gaijin’s employees should be getting back to work no matter what.
Replacing nab w/ nei……
Maybe it‘s time for some organized group class action.
Expected result"not a bug/not enough info".
I mean what’s the point of replacing nab with an nei…
That’s ridiculous. The top Chinese planes in this game already have their weaknesses (J-10C flying brick/J-15T DOA - 48CM), and now they’ve nerfed their missiles too—what a joke.

You can understand this behavior as a kind of modification driven by personal preference or experience — though this is hardly the first time they’ve done something like this.
This is typical behavior in the issue tracker. To silence those who raise questions, they often say things that are completely illogical and self-contradictory—such as, “this missile works MUCH better at long ranges.” I’m not sure whether he means the PL-12 has a higher hit probability than the R-77-1 at long distances, or that it can achieve higher overload maneuvers at the edge of its range than the R-77-1.
So if that’s true, where are the nerfs to the R-77s and MICA since they are MeDiUm RaNgE missiles too?
As for “Not enough info” there are plenty of sources showing a 38g limit, but it can’t hit that in game.
Standard BRM behavior as per usual lol.
So the issue managers always reject certain issues for strange reasons that can’t be generalized to the overall environment, even when Gaijin’s changes, updates, and the managers themselves are completely unjustified.
“It’s a medium range missile. It’s not supposed to work at close distance as well as short range missiles. This missile works much better at longer ranges.”
What are you even talking about? If that’s the case, then why haven’t the MICA and R-77 been nerfed? Their close-range performance already surpasses almost all short-range missiles except the R-73.
And what do you mean by “better performance at long range”? Better in what way? Is it enough just to be better than the R-77? Not to mention that even at long range, it can still be evaded by enemy aircraft.
What kind of logic leads you to claim that a medium-range missile is supposed to have worse maneuverability at close range than short-range missiles? That argument simply doesn’t make any sense.
@magazine2 sorry for the ping but, if possible could u tell us if this is really supposed to happen or if its just an bug caused by the changes
Because missiles famously achieve their maximum overload at long range, where they’ve already depleted most of their energy. It literally says that the missile achieves this overload at Mach 4 @ 6,000 meters, this speed can only be achieved mid-burn at closer ranges. “SD-10 != SD-10A” next I bet.
Not to mention the PL-12 in-game cannot even achieve Mach 4 at 6,000 meters because the missile is underperforming in kinematic performance as well.
Very unlikley that he is gonna give you an answer Different from smin
Don’t even care about this garbage bug report platform
It just a tool they rationalize their minds
Accept some issues which they want players to reflect and directly reject the issues they dislike
So they can say “we are listening players feedbacks”
Every Chinese equipment will reject within 20min I did try that
