too bad the LDRICM isnt on actual service J-15T´s, this is most likley just a show case of what could be

He can be equipped with it. So it isnt impossible for he be added to him when gaijin decides to add the EW

EW is something very different, while this requires a physical change to the plane which has not been seen

Double Standard

That’s not what that “double standard” means.

A double standard is when for two identical situations, different standards are used.

Weapons from a previous variant being added to a later variant is one situation.
A sensor system that has not be integrated into a variant is an entirely different situation.
Different situations.

The LDIRCM would be most applied to if, for example, F-15A got BOL pods despite not being integrated IRL.

They don’t have the ability to use them. It is not feasible, the basis of their addition was that in the brochure the SU-30MKM was stated as available for integration, so it wasn’t integrated but could be, just like they wrote SU-25s, which doesn’t actually imply all Su-25 can use it but rather they can be integrated. Same with Su-30MKI’s Brahmos situation.

Also that must mean Su-30SM is the precursor, which did come 5 years after the malaysia sale, so it wouldn’t have worked from a timeline sense unless we say MKI was KH38 capable as well which is quite frankly ridiculous.

The Su-30MKM we have in-game is from 2019 upgrades it received.
And it’s getting further upgrades IRL starting last year, though that version is obviously not in War Thunder, and probably won’t come unless there’s something drastically different.

Well nothing suggests it did ever receive the KH-38 integration, which from other files about KH-38 did suggest was needed for KH38.

Had anyone noticed that: After gaijin had fixed PL-12A’s thrust perfomance. They also nerfed it manuverance and It cannot pull a 25+G overload anymore? and GAIJIN claim they improve PL-12 and PL-12A’s ballistic? what a shame

That snail really messed up the Chinese tech tree…
Right now, the J-15T would be a weak BR 14.3; as a BR 14.7, it’s EOL and, at best, a collector’s item… Sad :(

PS:
Even the Super Hornet (14.3) is a better fighter than the J-15T in this game, in my opinion. Seriously, I get better results with the F-18E than with the J-15T… Is it a skill issue? Or just “snail issue”?

neiter and both, the J-15T is quite poor a attempt at modernising a old airframe, and as such it plays ingame fairly poor, it is moddeled quite weirdly as some aspects are realistic and some are made up, but yeah it is just a collectors item ingame, and (very) maybe should go down in BR

Why do you think the J-15T is quite poor a attempt at modernising a old airframe

since it inherited most of the flaws of the J-15/ TK-10-3 and only gained electronic upgrades which to be fair arent bad at all but its still just a modernised J-15 with barley any redesign par the CATOBAR, as seen with the biggest gripe most players have for example the countermeasure count. And add unto the fact that the PLANAF still uses mostly AL-31 we got quite lucky to get WS-10.

Actually i also just reconsidered, the J-15T is fine as an aircraft, the J-15 i dislike

The J-15T indeed mainly features upgrades in avionics compared to the original J-15, along with improvements in its weapons systems—but that is already enough.

I wonder if IRL j-15t uses al-31f1 series 5 with increased thrust to 14000kgf instead of series 3 of al-31f with same base thrust as standard al-31f like su-33 with 12500 kgf

We dont really know, the series 5 just happened to appear about the same time the J-15T appeared, idk why the PLANAF uses AL-31 anyway nowadays
