[Feedback] Nuclear Escalation: The Fight Continues!

Overall, I don’t think anything about this gamemode was fixed and if anything it’s a bit worse than last time. Please actually try to balance out SPAA mechanics before adding 200000 all seeing pantsirs/ITO’s that would intercept your flares and cannon rounds if they could.

This is the worst one yet.

Somehow the previous event was way more playable than this one. Buk sites can now kill you above your airfield, and you’ll get airfield locked if you try to launch an attack on the AA sites and die. You’re actively punished for playing this gamemode both with your time and silver lions, in both respawn costs and munition costs. AA sites are just as bad as you remember and you still can’t kill them without coordinating a 20 missile saturation attack against them. And then they respawn minutes later just to kill you above the airfield you now thought was safe.

Someone thought this was good enough before they launched it. Sorry but I’m not a masochist and I have self respect. I’m not playing this one until they do something to fundamentally change how the AA sites operate. Either increase the reload time of the AA sites so that saturation attacks actually work, or increase their respawn time. Much preferably both.

And its the wierdest looking Tornado ever, no landing light or Flir and 0 loadout except 1 x Aim-9 it apparently fired.

They should not respawn period IMO. You should be rewarded for launching high risk saturation attacks against SAM sites to clear them out for your team. If you destroy an S-300 site it should be gone permanently and give your team a strategic advantage to launch further high altitude attacks with less contestation.

We get long respawn cooldowns but SAMs can reload in seconds…

It would be nice to try this out if it didn’t lose connection to the match after 2 minutes and crew lock me every single time.

Making this mixed with all countries is a real letdown, the US vs USSR system was much more interesting. Gaijin should make it properly red vs blue at the very least.

Less points for air kills, it will just turn into another deathmatch mode on Live server. Especially if SAMs remain as deadly as they are.

Managed to fly for 4 minutes, since takeoff was being fired on by AI SPAA. Spent that whole time notching and dropping chaff only to get hit by a Pantsir that tracked me through the terrain from 30km away.

I think it’s clear you never looked at the main issue people had with this mode, the OP AI SPAA.

if you got a lot of points for air kills it’ll be come air rb w a secondary objective, this makes it so if u want the most points u gotta play the game mode not farm kills w AIM120D, PL12As or R77-1s
