For far too long Air people had the privilege to just ignore 60-70% of their tree and just rush towards best fighters.
My expectations were low but damn.

The OP AA wouldnt be so bad if it didnt respawn.
We could then work as a team to clear areas of all AA. The respawning has to go IMO.
You’d need an ungodly level of babysitting to do much against Pantsirs and ItOs
most of the missiles have 16km of range, you fire 4-5 in each spaa and hope that they dont intercept all of them
all you would need to do is basically pop up, use fnf missiles and go down, just like you do in ground rb
or if you use hellfires, fire them from behind a cover, and pop up around 7 seconds before the target hit
plus, i think these helicopters would make for a way better alternative to kill convoys
First, grinding in ARB gives you way more Rp then in GRB, and yet its almost the same RP to grind. And Of corse evreybody rushed toptier, back then, there was nothing much to grind
And make them actually have to reload instead of just having buks with an infinite supply of fox 3s to spam at everything in the sky. That way you could actually have a chance to fight them. Bait them to shoot at you, defeat the missile, repeat until it runs out of missiles, the push it and destroy it.
Yeah I started playing ground for the first time since the bmpt was added the other day since the M1A2 SEP V1 is going to move out of the M1A2 folder and will double in RP and I want to get it before that happens. I got a lucky 14 kill game and got just barely got 1k rp/kill, and I even have a premium account. I could have gotten the same amount of RP in ARB by just getting 1 kill and circling around for a few minutes shooting a few howitzers for 100x less effort. GRB rewards are actually so pitiful.
You cant compare rp/kill between ground and air… there’s no way you would get 14 kills in air. Kills are more accessible so they are worth less so that rp/match is similar between ground and air
And I’m not comparing the number of kills, I’m comparing the effort. It takes a lot more effort to sweat my ass off in a grb match for 20 minutes than it does to sling a few fox 3s, get a kill, notch the ones coming in, then just circle around strafing ground targets that don’t fight back for the last few minutes of the match.
I still think that behemoths like the TU-95 and B-52 are a good idea, as that can give everyone a combat target instead of using other fighter jets to drop nuclear bombs and anti-radiation missiles. Large nuclear bombs can give players more sense of achievement and visual impact.
Also, it seems that AI missiles are still unlimited, and sometimes they appear to use optical targeting instead of radar, which prevents anti-radiation munitions from locking on. Please impose a limit on the amount of AI missile ammunition, so that they at least have some reload time instead of being able to fire missiles endlessly.

Thats because youre only looking at top tier, the game was designed when it was only props and it took much more effort to get many kills in air
Yeah they need to increase rewards on top tier grb because it stops scaling up at around rank 4 or 5, but the rp costs start increasing significantly faster at the same time. Compared to air where, while the rewards still dont scale 1:1, they still scale a lot better than with ground.
I find ground easier to grind at top tier, i think its balanced well enough between ground and air, we just need more rewards for both
It was already challenging to get strat bombers through at 13.0, you would need 2-3 to even have a chance and hope there weren’t too many fighters in theatre. The chance of getting a strat bomber through with 14.7 fighters around is zero.
Yes, files still have a ground vehicle preset for the cold war (presumably for below 13.0) with the old nuclear thunder vehicle set.
