Indeed. They are not game’s bot: are some script-driven user bots.
They used to farm players reaching tier III to get the golden eagles reward but Gaijin wrote that it got disabled a couple of weeks ago for naval games.
Now they are back again so either Gaijin silently reenable that reward for everyone or maybe they just did it for a specific country.

It used to be for farming referrals as you said but now its just losing money as they are using the premium Rank 1 destroyer. They all get banned eventually anyway so no idea why it is still going.
Well I must say that when i play naval i only play 6.7 and upwards BBs so im not sure if this problem extends that far up the tech trees
No it is always rank 1 German starter bluewater ships.
