When I started up the game this evening I saw something I’ve never seen before on years of playing. A dialogue box saying that 7 players had reported me for Foul language, Passive behaviour (whatever that is…), and 2 other bad things (can’t recall exactly whet they were - should have made a note).
However, I can confirm that I’ve never behaved in that manner - these reports are false. Can I find out who made these reports and when the supposed behaviours occurred? Or do I just ignore them and assume that they are either mistaken or malicious?
Just ignore them.
You get notified if you get spammed with reports, but for any action to be taken a GM has to manually check. So if you’ve done nothing wrong, nothing will come of it. If anything, the people who false report too often can even get punished.
So just take it as a badge of honor, they were likely mad you killed them or something.
The only one to keep an eye out for is for teamkilling as that is an automated system
Thanks for the advice. I play realistic so I can’t team kill tank to tank. There have been occasions when I’ve dropped arty onto an enemy or a likely enemy approach and an ally has then driven into the arty. It annoys me that I loose points due to someone else’s action but that’s just the way the game is - wish they’d change that…
You cannot. We do not share such info. Reports are anonymous.
If you did not break the rules, you are safe. Game Masters check reports, we do not “automatically” ban someone just because other players decided to spam report him.
