just to clarify. alot of ghost pings are showing up off radar. and its ability to pick up airplanes and tracking them is extremely bad. it hardly pings planes that are at the perfect angle, hight, and distance. even on the target practise, it would literally ping not a single one of the 4 airplanes in the air.

Agreed. It’s also not just losing lock on aircraft, the lock drifts off almost like an IR lock looking at a flare. The MiG17AS I was trying to track was approx 1000-2000m away and does not have chaff.
If I had to guess, Gajin gave it an aircraft radar that actually has limits, and doesn’t just magically lock onto targets behind trees, or notching and multipathing.
