It’s not so bad, no reason to be afraid. Prevention of Blue-onBlue is part of warfare, and having this in the game is a challenge, yes, but also makes it interesting and exciting. Brings much more tactics to the game.

Why are the TK penalty a full game ban and not the Game mode type?

I think a lot of people are just afraid of the notion that every teamkilling incident will lead to a ban, whether it’s accidental or not. I’m sure ya’ll look into things before acting, but I’m also sure you guys can see where some people are coming from.

Indeed. Not to mention their latest intended RWR changes would not only butcher the RWR system but only exacerbate the already terrible ID situation for Sim matches, which would lead to more TKs which now would lead to more bans.
Only lends credence to the belief that Gaijin don’t actually play the game as the only alternative belief is that they just don’t care.

Fair enough. For me(since I plan on starting with lower tiers) I guess it’ll be a game of “who’s Sherman/pz IV is that?”
We rely on our team of Game Masters who look at statistics, as well as on reports from players that they carefully go through.
I guess they gone carefully thru almost 30k reports… Hilarious.

Well that, and let’s not forget that there are also vehicles that span across multiple tech trees. The P-51, M4, T-54/55, F-104, and F-4 are all excellent examples of this. Sometimes it’s extremely difficult to ID someone.

Guys imagine u are trying to fire IR missle to enemy but missle choose a team friend so u get ban cuz of this what kinda joke is this? No one even listening us TY Gaijin, TY Admins, I don’t think I’ll play much more after the ban is remove

I looked at some of the accounts here that are so vocal about it. Can’t share obviously, but when I see 30, 40 TK’s in two weeks, it makes it hard to believe the “I just TKed maybe once” claims…

100% agree. While the RWR IFF is nice to have, especially above 13.0, it should’ve been an optional toggle for the players. I always use RWR as a makeshift IFF tool when flying planes like J-7E and F-5E and this unrealistic IFF mechanism for RWRs are a huge detriment while playing planes with poor radar for me.
Combine this with mute teammates who don’t ping their location, you got a nice recipe for accidental team kills.
