Fair Play: November 2024

Players are already punished with a hefty SL fine for TK. Why remove access to the game on top of that?
Teamkilling is part of the game. If you don´t want people teamkilling, then disable it altogether.
Banning players for TK makes no sense. That´s unironically just theft with extra steps.

There is already SL punishment. And also in SB, people accidentally kill me and most of the time I don´t feel like they spoiled battle for me and I have no way to forgive them for TK. Make forgiving a feature in SB if you guys are hellbent on dishing out bans.

Probably nothing since it happened to me a few times and I am not banned. Accidents happen or smth idk.

Those were not recent events. Rule apply to everybody the same way.

You were not banned randomly. How hardfor you is to understand that you get ban for TK?

Even Better idea take away blue on blue damage like they did with GRB a long time ago

Honestly one of the reasons I’m afraid to play sim is TKs, especially if now we’ll get banned for it(I’m thinking, like, Herman the German Sherman in GRB.) Apart from that, is there a good place to learn Air/ground sim?

How hard is it for you to understand that not every team kill is intentional and deserves a punishment

Personally it depends on the context. If it is an accident, and it has been apologized for and accepted, then it would be fine due to the players accepting it.

TKs without any of that acceptance should be punished.

I wouldn’t want someone who accidentally killed me to be punished.

Can you explain to me why i received a second ban after already having a ban for team killing? After that I haven’t team killed and now I have a 14 day ban?

It may come to that at some point, but they could still pop smoke and do other things just to annoy their team mates . . . the weapons delay covers a lot of things is why I thought about it

If I had to wager, I reckon they’re at least spending more than 30 seconds looking into a report before acting. It’s not hard to look at a German Tiger teammate killing a friendly Italian Sherman in ground sim and going “Hey, this probably was just a mistake, the SL penalty should be a sufficient punishment here.”

Same goes for an IR missile being flared and then subsequently locking onto a teammate and blowing them up instead. Stuff happens.

Imagine having very clear game rules when it comes to team damage, and players shocked and surprised if their TK has consequences…

I always understand accidental team kills in air rb with a missile from 3 miles away

Sometimes the missile has a mind of its own

We make up and play the game like true sports

We shouldn’t have a fear of playing this game and getting banned due to a core mechanic

I certainly hope (and expect) that the moderation team are looking into what happened before making a judgement. You say you got an hour ban, that sucks, but just try to be more careful and move on. A lost hour isn’t worth spending three hours trying to argue over.

Then Gaijin needs to do their due diligence and design the game properly so that TKs will only happen either through egregious negligence or intentional action.

That means no more missiles ignoring hard radar locks on enemy aircraft, for the most immediate example.

@Stona_WT very thank u for only responding [POC_DA_DOC_GOD] , and not even cheking dms. And i hope The Greek players who shot me only because I’m Turkish must have been affected by this too, and for 14 DAYS 14 DAYS 14 DAYS 14 DAYS

This explains the sudden influx of reddit posts with people complaining they got banned for no reason.

This is something I wholeheartedly agree with. Accidental Teamkills happen, and the SL penalty should be enough of a punishment in at least 60-70% of situations.

I feel like Gaijin should clarify their stance on TKs since a player is bad at the game vs. intentional TKs. Everyone who’s playing sim for the first few times will end up TKing people on accident, be it just because of reactions learned from ground RB or misidentifying a tank(Herman the German Sherman for example) versus intentional TKing
