English is the “business language” and more people know English than any other language. So no…
Lol u assume i got banned? Sorry to disapoint u here.
Also i dont get your argument here, maybe because there is no argument from you, only opinions without reasoning.
Same to you, i need to disapoint you, your assumption is not correct.
Also, do you habe any arguments? I can only see a personal attack from you here, no aeguments, no discussion.
Do you wamt do argue and discuss or just attacl everyone that asked and point out issues with the current situation?
Personal attacks? lmao, that is some impressive mental gymnastics. My arguments are stated… Follow the rules, dont get banned. Want to know what is bannable? read the rules… it is all communicated (you know, what you are demanding) on that page in writing
None of my questions and issues i talk about here is written in the eula, so why u keep getting personal?
My questions and issues are still not fixed or explained just because u call me mental lol.
You can be sure that it isn’t, reality is much more different.
My argument is that intentional teamkills are bad since they eliminate players who could be useful otherwise. It is also unsportsmanlike and childish.
Accidental teamkills are excusable and are often due to player error, but intentional ones are due to a purposeful and malicious attack.
I didnt call you mental, I said your mental gymnastics are impressive (you know, stretching to make X out of B).
The rules arent in the EULA, they are their own page… here, for your reading pleasure. Rules
I shall direct your attention to the following:
3. DAMAGE TO TEAMMATES, “FRIENDLY FIRE”
3.1. These War Thunder specific rules expressly prohibit causing damage to teammates or so-called “friendly fire” in a Game, including, without limitation, the following actions: inflicting damage to teammates’ vehicles or any of their parts, destroying teammates’ vehicles or any of its parts, disorienting teammates. Please note that damaging teammates is forbidden even if the damaging functionality is technically allowed in a Game.
3.2. The sanctions for violating the above-mentioned rule are automatically imposed by the in-game system that analyzes the Player’s in-game behavior. In exceptional cases, the Administration may manually evaluate the alleged violation and set the corresponding sanction.
3.3. The rule in paragraph 3.1 above also applies to certain Game events (official streams, championships, etc.) officially announced and sanctioned by the Administration. In some cases, during such Game events, the in-game punishment system mentioned above may be disabled, and the participants will not be punished for minor or insignificant violations. However, the Administration may always impose the Game Access Restriction for a period from 3 to 7 days on a Player who causes damage or destroys a teammate during such Game events.
Sure… whatever you say buddy
We allow TK, we allow your missile to go to the nearest ally, we allow captured vehicles to face each other in the ground Sim, but if you end up killing an ally, we will punish you.
Yup, that is what is says. As such, that is what is enforced. Almost like knowing what the rules say before playing a game is important, it helps prevent surprises of “Why did I get banned”.
it has a downwards vector, which makes the missile pull downwards to lead. doesn’t matter what you consider it, that is what happened.
you can see it goes for the closest one flying to the top right of your camera, but missing it entirely because the launch was going nowhere for that plane. closest target usually gets the best return and the missile will go for it.
doesn’t matter, it’s still a terrible launch. missiles are not made for throwing it at a swarm of planes all going different directions.
you know middle and south america play on the NA server too right?
next time, dont shoot a missile when a team mate is nearby. if thats your single chance of getting a kill, maybe try better to get more chances for a kill.
Yup. But it was not on purpose so they didnt kick him from the game.
Their point is that even if every tk was accidental, after a certain point, it will result in a ban. If you did like 20 tk in a day, you cant just go “it was all on accident”. At a certain point, you need to actually pay attention to what you are doing.
We do this constantly, that’s literally the most important aspect of the job of the Game Master team.
Racism and hate speech is not tolerated in chat.
Again, for the umpeenth time: mass reporting, reports not proving punishable offenses, revenge reporting, all this doesn’t work, because it’s the content of the reports that matters, not reports frequency.
Just think about where this could go if exagerated, for a moment:
I think I see where you’r going, but what are you implying? Any possibility to break the rules eliminated, so rules are not needed and don’t need to be enforced anymore?
What kind of game would this be?
Firendly fire is a realistic aspect of warfare, and having to be mindful of one’s shots consequences is just one of the challenges of the game as well. I play sim, and I consider it part of the fun to hunt down and identify the enemy, and to avoid targeting a friend.
Do we want a game without challenges? Where we don’t have to think?
-
Remove possibility for FF in all modes, so TK problem solved, no more need to enforce the rules…
…and no more need to exercise any trigger disipline anymore, just fire blindly, it’s impossible not to hit anyhting exept the enemy, after all! -
Remove chat and only communicate with preconfigured radio messages, so chat ofenses eliminated…
-
Assign players a random name, so offensive names are eliminated…
-
Remove possibility to decorate vehicles with decals, so offensive messages using decals impossible…
I would find this silly.
I personally would rather have a game where players need to think if it’s really a good idea to drop a 5000 pounder from a strategic bomber onto a close-quarter ground battle, where players check and judge their surrounding and think if it’s really a good idea to fire into a furball with a missile that could confuse a Blue with a Red, where they need to check first if their target is an enemy and don’t blindly fire at anything they have a good targeting solution for.
Here however I agree personally at least to a degree: Certain game elements should be improved in this regard, especially in sim. Having forces go against each othe based on country instead of blocks/affiliations sure causes issues in my view, it’s near impossible to get setups where you don’t have e.g. Phantoms or Vipers on both teams (but for me the immersion aspect is more important here than the IFF aspect - I know how to handle that one…)…
But, this doesn’t make positive identification of friend and foe impossible, just more challenging. So it can’t really be used as a solid argument to justify TK’s.
That’s actually a pretty helpful tip. I don’t know how I missed that for so long.
Call me a pessimist, but I already see guys radio they drop a big bombs, so the blues J out and the guy doesn’t drop but laughs himself silly…
Only in arb should FF be removed since that’s where the most TKs happen
