Hmmmmmm…Sounds like you could of just J out to prevent a TK after you told him to bomb where you are at. Sure, it would give a kill to the enemy but better than getting you teammate in trouble for TK.

There have been several arguments that contradict this punishment system for TK, and they don’t even differentiate between accidental and intentional,
edit: but I hope this is at least a start to later punish racism in chat too, I’m tired of seeing things like '‘breathe if you hate N-word (Black)’, ‘‘activate smoke if you hate gay’’
Speaking of this, a few days ago someone TK’d me for calling out their squadmate bringing in low tier planes into Top Tier… I reported the teamkill, but can’t see them on the list. F.
The “just having fun!!111!1” folks strike again. Not the first time this happens. Sometimes it’s the lower tier planes themselves that blast everyone on the runway, too.
Burden their teams by bringing in useless planes, having their teammates execute their own teammates for calling them out or straight up blasting everyone on the runway… but those of us who are fed up with them are the problem because “they just haev funn!!1”.

How hard is it to just program the chat to just chat ban someone for using such words? You have the setting to turn foul language on and off which is turned off by default. Instead of just blurring those words, why not instant chat ban them? Tell me a time when such words as “F-Slur” or “N-word” (this acutally goes for any racial slur) would ever be used in an actual conversation that isn’t in a malicious way? There isn’t, so just auto ban such words from being typed and chat ban those who try. It seems like these problems are all self-made when there are many ways to deal with it in a proactive way instead of reactive like you are doing currently with teamkills.

Giving people free reign is bad
Especially when we have the wheel

There are always ways of “alluding” a system like that with stuff such as grawlix.
But the common player likely doesn’t know how to do that, I just had to look up what it meant. Adding a system as I mentioned will reduce overall reports and the report system can still be in place to catch these “alluders”. And if they do use grawlix or bypass the system, even more reason to chat ban them since they went through the effort of trying.
Chains are incredibly common… c’mon…
And it wouldn’t lower the amount of reports due to people quickly adapting, not being able to write “funny” won’t stop people from writing “fxnny”. Best option overall is a community that actively reports those slurs.

Tk is a Tk… i get it… that the way u and gaijin sees it in term of banning people…
but again and again… WHY is the ingame system not telling the same story? Squadmate kills STILL dont cost any repairs, CHANGE IT if u bann people for it!
Also make it VERY clear that IF i play competitive, and shot down my mate that is already dying to Steal the kill from the Enemy is bannable.
Tell me u will personally Bann each and every troll in the game so i dont need to kill the I-153 in my 10.3 Br ARB matches… as long as that is not happening i dont see the point of the strict “we dont care we bann everyone that does tk no matter what the contect of it was”
Once a clear communication and strict set of rules is puplished i support gaijin in banning a ton of people.
Ban onespawns, ban tks, ban bad players, ban trolls, ban exploiters… i support all of that, but only if communicated correctly and not with so many open questions. Its just not fair that we don´t get the infos we ask for and you just change the punishment behaviour without communication.
And please, what is the goal of banning more TKs “without checking the kill context” ? Make the game better? Make it more PVP Competitive?
Again i support that, but cmon… communication… it would help a ton.
when my ban is over (IFF is useless in the Sim, as it never identifies an allied plane as an allied one), I will be happy to report this type of people

I fear this ban wave just unlocked Pandora’s Box with players going to be reporting others for every little infraction that breaks the rules and as Stona said, a “TK is a TK” can’t get more black and white than that. It is going to get to the point that players are too scared to play the game in fear of getting banned for accidentals instead of enjoying the game. The ban wave shows the flaw in the current system no matter how hard they push it as “fair”.

I will be reporting every single TK I see from now on.
Unfortunately, I think so too, but there’s nothing to be done, they’ve already decided that what they’re doing is right.
The most we can do is watch this whole situation unfold.
You should be punished for intentionally teamkilling other players.
I’m fairly sure they base it on reports, and I assume they check through each one they get.
Maybe don’t shoot down teammates? Sure sounds like you deserved to be banned.

Almost like they should make a set of rules… that are avialble to be looked at to know what is a bannable offense… they really should do that! oh wait… they have one, you just couldnt be bothered to read it

because there is the rest of America where the vast majority speaks Spanish (Spanish being the most spoken language in the American continent).
Just because the server is in the NA region, it doesn’t mean that there will only be people speaking English
