Point that you are missing is that you are just being annoyed in game by someone sitting in front of you. You don’t blow up because YOUR round smacked the troll.

And? You’re still getting punished for it. You’re still getting SL penalties and if he comes back again and does it again you’re still getting ejected out of the match if you do it again right now. You’ve also now got two marks against your account that may lead towards a ban.

The onus is on you not to fire while they are in front of you. You are the one who has to press fire.

If you got ban for 7 days and them 3 or 1 day, it means that you did a lot more than they.

thats why im asking if you know anyone who can review the ban and what i did wrong, 7 days is a long time so i atleast want a good and detailed reason if you want me to wait for 7 days

I got a warning, that’s enough for me to be unsettled and upset about being accused of soemthing quite awful that I’ve never done

It may not be a ban, but it’s a warning. That’s still a form of action against me/my account

That might be insignificant to you, but to me it’s actually quite serious to get such a thing

You know that you can report them and the play gets reviewed, right? Otherwise I would have had a perma ban on WT roughly in the first few hundred hours of play in the total of 5k plus that I have.

And what exactly would be stopping you from reporting them if reflected damage was implemented? As you just said if you report them for intentionally blocking and sitting in front of you then it will get reviewed and they will be punished.

Last I checked the rules stipulate that teamkilling is not allowed. No caveats in it such as “It’s okay to do it if they are sitting in front of you though.”

Except it isnt a warning, it is just saying people reported you. People report each other constantly for stupid stuff. Even I have been reported. If it were an actual issue, you would have had reprocussions, not a page saying basically “hey, people were mad and reported you”.

True. i dont take it seriously because i know that internet people will say you did X because they got upset. If someone calls me a cheater, i dont care because i know they are just upset they got outplayed.

Think of it this way… it is like a report card in school. The more that are listed, the higher your grade. You curb stomped enough people so badly that they tried to slander you. Had you done something wrong, you would have been punished.

You would have had to have multiple TK’s to get 7 days, and the warning is in the rules.

I hope we see very soon a full overview of whst gets you banned, how long, how to report an issue and so on…

This whole discussion makes me understand the penalty system less then before…

Suggestion for the dev implement negative type of stats to the player card for example tk’s game violation what type of game violation or make it so so we have access to these kinds of data at least for our own profile. I do not even know if I got ban since I didn’t log in yesterday.

Report via replay, or in-game for chat stuff.
They give a list of bannable stuff in the ToS. They really cant give a set number because if they said “5 TKs a day will cause a ban”, people will do 4 TKs a day.

This system is actually horrible. Before anyone tries to accuse me of justifying teamkilling - i didn’t get banned.

I never play missile era planes, nor do i play sim, so accidental teamkills happen very rarely in my case, but i can understand that to other players it can happen more often.

Although i don’t see a single positive thing about punishing teamkills with bans outside of people who play for the sole purpose of teamkilling, but i guess you can differentiate between those since you have teamkill counting system.

You have effectively made me never even think of trying out any sim mode which are already struggling with low player accounts in the future.

I will never risk my account getting banned for not noticing a decal on the side of russian captured Panther or Panzer 3. With how prelevant the copypaste in this game is, you have to be out of your mind to consider banning for teamkilling in a sim mode. If copypaste didn’t exist in this game it could be understandable, but it does and in stupid amounts on top of that. And don’t even get me started on copypaste planes, recognizing a plane from a cockpit view while it’s manouvering is decently hard even with completely unique aircraft, let alone some copypaste being exactly the same with only like a decal on the side.

Also does teamkilling your squad mate count towards the ban? You don’t get fined for that with SL, so i would assume it doesn’t, but you never know.

Saying something along the lines of “teamkill is a teamkill” is actually ridiculous. Anyone who has more than few hundred hours in this game will know it’s not the case. Teamkills can be very different and don’t deserve same severity of punishment
