Last time I asked a Steam moderator, he said there is indeed a counter, but there is also a timer that counts down overtime and after a while the kill count will reset to zero, maybe they changed the rules now I don’t know bro
ngl kinda hilarious, they pushed out the ban wave a day before the IS7 event
sigh
I keep repeating this: You can’t abuse the reporting system this way.
Players are never punished because they are reported.
Players are punished when an actual misbehavior or illegal action is identified.
The reports (say a chat related in-game report or a gameplay related Server Replay Report) may point at or show that misbehavior, but if there is no misbehaviour identified, nothing will happen to the player who got reported.
(Spamming nonsensical reports however, to try to get someone into trouble, now that IS forbidden behavior and is punished…)
Same as above: Apples and Oranges.
The first part refers to the MM - and the second part you shift the goal post from:
to
Don’t get me wrong - your points are valid, but not in the context of team killing. Even as i don’t play tanks, i am fully aware of the issues there.
Have a good one!
Imagine, people wanting to review bomb cause their actions have consequences. Wild.
That said, taking from the level of misfortune I have in ARB and the fact that I did not get a ban it somewhat shows to me that the ban is not “cause it was on accident”. You did something repetitively and now you have to deal with it.

All TK’s are to be avoided at all costs.
-
It’s not just the sum of TK’s, but other factors are taken into account too, of course.
(Just as a rough example, 5 TK’s in one day probably (or obviously) are weighted differently than 5 TK’s in 3 months…)
If multiple people are making this claim. Then yes they can. People aren’t dumb some will figure a way to abuse it in a way that isn’t a literal definition of abuse. Ex->Spamming the report button. People figure things out.
So why not deactivate it in Air RB as Gaijin did in Ground RB?
Cause bombing and ramming is not something you can deactivate.
Why change the entire game because entitled people think they shouldnt be accountable for their actions?
So for clarity are there leniency for a TK depending on what happened or is there non because i got a message from a friend that shows a Game Master saying there is none
That is correct, that then can be punished for all I care, but it would take the accidental missile TKs out of the equation, which are a relatively common occurence.
Think he is talking about frequency of TK’s, not circumstances
Gaijin already did that because Russian and Ukrainian players were going at each others throats after the Crimea annexation by Russia and it has never been switched back on.
So Ground RB shows that a general TK off system works. You can still kill planes and you can arty friendlies, but the number of accidentals is rather limited.
Except how will they know the difference between what is accidental with a missile… and what is “accidental” with a missile outside of reviewing every replay of every match?
Wrong answer. What if you drove into the proximity of the bomb without realizing just how close it was? Or what if it was the PE-8’s large bomb? You need to consider these as factors.
so it doesn’t mater the my rocket went for a teammate after getting flared becoming a total accident and it happened a few times i get a ban for someone being stupid and getting in my rockets way and getting splashed
I doubt this. Unless we are to start believing the cheaters too.
If you deactivate TK, then there are no accidental missile kills.
If you bomb the runway on takeoff then that is most likely intentional and should be punished.
If you ram into someone else, then that is most likely intentional and that’s what the report button is for.
Bingo.
