Fair Play July 2023

I’ve run into this one (BOCN) a lot in 9.3 – 10.3 Air.

Oh shoot. It just occurred to me that these bots are gonna be using the Atlanta eventually. A hoard of Atlantabots in the same numbers as the old Kerch/Tash/Kavkaz/Krym/Chapayevbots? That’s, like, worse than the worst nightmares I’ve never had. It will also kill 4.3, the last remaining low tier sweet spot for naval. Gaijin absolutely NEEDS to stamp this out ASAP, don’t even give them the chance to reach that point.

There’s positive news, too though. A lot of players are reporting that the number of bots they see in battle have reduced by a significant amount starting on the 2nd of August. Perhaps Gaijin shadow-banned a large amount of bots? But shoti is still there so…

The silverlionsXXXXX accounts are now using Frank Knoxes to grind through the tree faster. Looks like the earlier than usual event announcement has gotten them in a hurry. They’ll soon be in Atlantas, so they better be dealt with quick.

So damn annoying that this sort of thing is literally accepted… Even when I was highlighting the Heli-EC kill farmers, I was constantly being told they were looking at it, meanwhile these guys were literfally unlocking everything, and in a single match, you couldn’t even report all of them there were that many…

Like, damn… This warrants deletion of accounts, and full on removal of squadrons… If I were to do some of the junk I’ve been exposed to, with my squadron, I’d be banned, and it would be deleted, no doubt in my mind.

No, all those bots started with the Replacements squadron in May then struck out on their own as -shoti- in July. They were all created and were playing Frank Knoxes full-time a month before La Royale and the economic changes. Some of us watch these things pretty closely.

I think believing both Replacements and --shoti- are a secret Gaijin effort to make themselves look stupid and weak as a company, which appears to be your argument here, does not hold water.

Conspiracy theories do not belong here.

So, just so people are tracking the potential problem come Thursday here, here’s what a bot has to do to make 40,000 score in two days continuously and get a high end vehicle to sell at the end of the summer event.

Figure 48 hours per star, 4 games an hour, or about 200 games (it’ll be at least that, since they always ODL). Works out to about 200 score per game average, 100 if they play naval RB with that 2.2x multiplier. Bots will make that pretty much score in naval with their own death. Air RB bots just need to get a base once in a while, ground AA bots and cap bots similarly.

The only issue before was SL loss, which if you were negative would eventually drain your reserves and force you to stop botting. With the new insurance, they can buy 20d of premium for 2000 GE, or about $10 US, if the bot script and premium they’re using can’t break even already, the way the Frank Knox with a botscript can in naval. The coupon they can sell at the end will be worth more than that of course.

So it’ll be interesting to see which modes get affected given the lack of action on bots so far, but naval seems pretty susceptible still, compared to the other two modes. Anyway, we’ll all see in a few days.

I’m ready to put up with it honestly, like we’ve been doing for a year now, except for the possibility of Atlanta bots. Gaijin has to stop that before it happens.

the event vehicle that’ll sell for 30 or 40-ish GJN at the end of event is probably just a little extra compared to the possible jackpot from event crates

EugenBot can make 140M SL in a month … that means with the event he can burn that on purchasing 2000+ SL crates, that’ll likely translate into quite a few tradeable items (certainly enough to fund premium time) … and mountain of boosters to make following battles a lot more profitable

also we can now probably expect shift towards large vessels … with the premium account + SL compensation it will be viable to bot even ships with 30k+ repair cost, at worst zero SL, but no downslide into negative numbers). And even just one month of premium will be enough to “add value”, spade all top tier vessels … especially with all those boosters piled up.

and, as another value bonus, maybe get to drop a few random talismans from battle reward crates … very small number of vehicles bought (and only from one TT) narrows the possible targets quite a bit & with 4k+ games per month that’s a lot of random crates, last I’ve seen it in datamines it was guaranteed crate at worst every 9 battles I think)

Komrade, when they make money for the company by purchasing items, what do you expect from them? )

It’d make even more money if Gaijin kept banning them and forcing them to buy everything again. Hint hint Gaijin.

Well bots, people with no life at all and people with lots of money are the only benefiting from crafting events anyways

While they are better than the is7 Event they are still way to hard and work with the Russian doll principle
You first know how good or bad the event really is after you got the first top tier Vehicle

You know who doesn’t care about that ? Who doesn’t get demoralized by realizing they need to put in 4 times the work they put in so far?
Bots

No life?
Last event I spent 3 hours every 2 days getting each star.
Hardly an issue.

Sorry the dude I was replying to said gaijin need to fix the boting before the next crafting event

Having started grinding the Renown. Official conclusion. 200 bots down 10000+ still left to go. 90% of both teams sits in spawn and only fires secondaries. having to write an essay to report each and everyone of them, is just not feesible when you are one of the only players on your team and the battle starts within milisecond of spawn in

As another indicator, -shoti- has climbed up to #7 on the squadron list. Good news is there’s still 6 human squadrons in the world who can make more RP per day than the all-bot one can, though :)

So yeah, guess they decided to let it ride… Enjoy naval RB everyone! :)

I would say that RB NF wasn’t that bad. There are still some but I would say that the amount of real players in the battles actually increased compared to last week.

even keeping them afloat is somewhat similar to creating them in the first place - its wrong. wrong strongly enough to hold that water tight, and if they wanna look good they must handle it a week earlier to today.

What kind of gibberish is that?
