[Fair Play] Fair Play: March 2026

We keep fighting cheaters using your reports and the BattlEye anti-cheat system, and as usual, today we’re sharing a bit of info on bans that we’ve distributed over the past month. If you’d like to help keep War Thunder free from cheating, you can find out how to file a report and how our anti-cheat system works on our Wiki.

Banned accounts

Since our last fair play, we’ve banned 6919 accounts that were found to have violated the rules. Specifically 3.2.3 of the EULA namely in the automation of gameplay (using bots) and cheat software. For complete transparency, we’re publishing the full list of these banned players. This list will be available for two weeks after the publication of this article.

Additionally, 318 accounts have been banned for a week or longer for intentional teamkilling, ramming and griefing.

Recommendations

We recommend that you set a strong password for your account and enable two-step authentication in your profile security settings. We have the following 2FA options available: email, SMS, TOTP (Gaijin Pass/Google Authenticator).

We’d also suggest that you turn on 2FA for the email that is linked to your Gaijin account for additional security, as this will protect your account from fraudsters. And remember, don’t use prohibited client modifications and never share your account information with anyone.

i saw these names i dead from laughing at that these names aaaah-cat

someone don’t like mr snail seems like

Because they aren’t really random, whomever is coding the cheat parses the word in the middle of the number generator, mebe even a hash for something meaningful, but probably not for throwaway accts. Simple enough to do. As for why, I guess they like dick (notthattheresanythingwrongwiththat).

Actually, @OrsonES would it be possible to get a clarification on wether or not macros are allowed? Especially for naval, having to click so much for so many hours can lead to rather unpleasant outcomes

pffft amazing

I’ve seen cheaters before but…as is so often and so graciously pointed out by my fellow players: The vast majority are my skill issues, or nothing more insideous than excellent teamwork…especially on the part of those who hail from a certain much maligned country.

All my arguments and whining asside - thanks Gaijin, makes the $$ I’ve spent on the game well worth it. Cheers.

You banned me for using reshade but can’t ban an obvious cheater who has been cheating for at least 2+ month. Amazing job!

Try to use common sense and own investigations.

For years i try to get your attention to ban players with cheap bot scripts in Air RB - and nothing happens. There are at least 5 guys called Task Force (or the same guy changes his squad every day😂) using a cheap botscript in a PBJ (3.7 B-25 strike version) scoring 4,000 (!!!) player kills with flying straight to the enemy’s airfield.

Example? Just watch this replay (Task Force - not on ban list):

Gaijin Entertainment - Single Sign On

I do not understand why you are unable to detect “players” with zero manual control input during matches with such a service record…
