It’s the same for all games.
“Yes, I’m banned, I didn’t do anything”
And after 15 minutes of investigation you realize that the guy has a cheat software for another game (or WT) and then radio silence lol
This War Thunder software tells me that I have researched a module on a premium I don’t even own. If it makes such errors, why should the anti cheat work any better?
Ok, now to be “fair” post the ratios of actual “valid” bans to all the false positives you can find and let’s see how often it actually happens.
“Fear mongering” is used to sell newspapers and get tv ratings and views, it has no place in this game or it’s Forum . . . . seems like to me anyway
The largest problem (and to be clear I suspect we’re probably talking in the dozens at most, out of 68k+ bans this year) has been players who truthfully reported their hack to customer support, got their problem resolved, but later on picked up a ban anyway until it was resolved, again, because apparently the ban and account support offices weren’t cross checking their lists. Hopefully that’s been fixed now. If you do report a possible hack attempt, document document document, though.
