F4S BVR PDV radar unable to pick up any hostile targets. Only able to lock on HMD and ACM
This may be a radar-mode or scan-setting issue rather than a general inability to detect targets. PDV can lose or hide contacts depending on target aspect, closure rate, scan elevation and display/filter settings, while ACM/HMD uses a different acquisition volume.
Could you test the same target and geometry with SRC PD and PDV, then attach a short video showing the complete radar display and selected mode? Please also include altitude, target aspect, scan zone/elevation, control bindings and whether the issue persists after resetting the aircraft controls. If PDV repeatedly fails while SRC PD detects the same non-notching target, a client replay and .clog from that session would make a useful bug report.
