I just played 5 rounds and what was destroyed by Mirage because he used his magic 1 30G rocket or MiG 21 because he has R3R and 10G which causes instant rotation or MiG 21 mf because he has 30G rockets f4c is unplayable give him flares or 20G rockets AIM9J or AIM7E
skill issue tbh
f-4c is one of the most garbage planes in the game i say just dont play it

It’s a food for almost everything I’ve played around 10.3-11.0.
Not a good look when some 9.3 and 7.7 can punch +1.0BR above.

Those are REAR-Aspect missiles,… so if you don’t show your REAR (also known as the 2 F’in hot lady exhaust you have back there), to the ennemy → there is no shot possible.
now,… against R-3R → it is known that MiG-21’s players use them in head-ons fights,…
you thought you’ll win with those 20mm vulcan of yours? nah huh,…
F-4C is a support fighter: it can’t do much on it’s own,… it needs teamplay to make it great.
not as bad as MiG-21F13 (which got too low in BR), it is mostly played by newbies to jets tiers.
Most use it as a bomber,… they’re wrong,… making it a bomber is the worst idea possible, only by taking the fight and LEARNING from previous mistakes, that you’ll be able to overcome the problem.
(by the way,… you can load some [not all] FFAR or Zuni rockets, to use them as secondary flares, but not sure it will work if you keep on using afterburner while using them)

It can do both
only if you sacrifice your early game survivability and your potential positionning,…
but it will work about 5% of the time if players, like me (not you of course), are in ennemy teams,…
so i won’t count on it.

It’s even funnier when the plane itself isn’t very good because of how compressed 9.0+ is.
It won’t ever be good because it’s one of the best flareless planes, which forces it to a BR where it won’t be able to compete.
Yeah, that’s… Sort of why they’re having issues.
They should probably learn how to fly an aircraft without flares.
Then tell them how to? Or don’t respond if you aren’t going to actually say anything useful.
