I noticed that aside from Sparrows sometimes tracking a cow on the ground, the F2A’s radar loses lock really easy without the enemy needing to notch or chaff, even if they are at high altitude and flying straight. I’ve tried pretty much all jets but the chinese ones and grippens, and this behavior is not common at all. Even the MiG 29 or flanker radars which are supposed to be trashy can maintain a lock much better than the AESA one from the F2A.
Anyone noticed this behavior? Is there maybe an actual mechanic around this radar that makes it prefer certain angles or maneuvers to maintain lock, even if within the FOV of the radar and while the target is not in a notch?

Ive been noticing this with every radar in the game lately an aircraft can just slightly change direction by a couple degrees and the radar just decides to completely stop tracking
I had a friend tell me their ground based radar on the pantsir is doing the same thing rn too and i can report the issue from ITO and ADATS
