I don’t understand why gaijin didn’t give us XF-2A prototype as the premium or a early service version both would have J/APG-1 radar instead of “-2” it would be weaker and can’t even use fox 3s so it’s load out of AAM-3 and AIM-7 would of made more sense and with a weaker radar maybe even could of been 12.7.
Instead they gave us a ADTW F-2 which ironically this type of version later on gets more advanced tech then the tech tree F-2
They won’t add any fox3 to the premium jets currently in game those are capable to use fox3 like mig21bison and F2. Economically make no sense for Gaijin for not add another copy paste premium jet from tech tree with fox3.

Tbf right now 13.7 jets enjoy a FAR BETTER matchmaker than 13.0 jets. 13.7 gets a lot of downtiers and they sealclub 12.7 and 13.0 jets constantly.
The F-2 ADTW with fox3 would be just a premium F-2A which is quite good for 13.7 due to the aesa radar.
Regardless, this topic is pointless and F-2 is a good 13.0, its just in a very bad spot due to BR compression.

It needs Fox-3 or it needs to move down to 12.7 with the F-15A in Sim!

The ADTW obviously needs to go down to 10.0, otherwise it would suffer really badly
Thats only for ARHs. SARHs in game do have datalink reconnect.
Although yeah, sadly SARHs don’t DL in TWS mode* although it makes sense. Datalink in warthunder is perfectly accurate. So if a plane could give datalink updates without an active seeker it would be an absolute menace. Something i’d wish they’d fix by changing how inertial drift works but… regardless.
*RAM TWS modes can actually provide datalink updates, however no plane with RAM currently has DL missiles, lol. The F-15I did for like 1 patch but no one noticed it could be used like that.
