The f18e is definitely the worst top-tier jet i have ever seen .And i aslo wonder why american jets get nothing when all other countries get their own ir guided bomb?

F18E is DOA and getting AGM187 wont fix anything, what it needs is to come down to 13.7 - 14.0 and even then, its still gonna be incredibly mid
the F18 in general is one plane that highlights the massive compression issue that is visible in war thunder. at 12.3 the f18a can so good, the premiums at 12.7 can be good in downtiers but being uptiered to 13.7 they are just abused. The lates and the E are just so hopelessly outclassed with being among the slowest and countermeasures being lack luster (at least the us one). But since its a western jet, even being US, i very much doubt i see anything changing since gaijin only move up western tanks and planes and never seem to move them down.
The US maverick was the main inventory weapon for anti tank CAS.
IRL better performance, but WT requires more explosive mass to trigger the “tank kill within X meters” overpressure.
That weapons performance in WT is a little spotty due to the missile guidance randomness, volumetric etc.
The AGM-65 feels like it drifts away from center at terminal guidance regularly.
It’s supposed to aim for center of thermal and strikes like this that would completely disable a tank you can walk off after a repair.
Notice in the picture below how it’s hitting the outer edge.
