Hey everyone, how’s it going? I wanted to get something off my chest regarding the current state of the premium F-18s. Right now, all the premium F-18Cs sit at a 12.7 BR with a more-than-decent loadout, but there’s a massive problem: the spam of 13.0–13.3 aircraft makes them basically unplayable. Take the Su-30MK2/MKK, for example; they outperform you in both flight characteristics and weaponry. Plus, many aircraft at this BR carry twice or even three times as many countermeasures as you do (the early F-18C and CF-18 only have 60). While 60 countermeasures is a reasonable amount, the spam of Fox-3-equipped jets means they run out in the blink of an eye. Setting survivability aside, let’s look at air-to-air combat: you can carry six AIM-7Ps, which feel much better now thanks to recent buffs, and two AIM-9Ls (well… you already know the story with that missile). It’s a solid loadout for 12.7, but in a BR bracket dominated by Fox-3s and HMDs, it falls a bit short. While the F-18s have decent radars, they aren’t quite enough to go toe-to-toe with 13.0–13.7 jets. To wrap up, my take on how to fix this is to gradually raise the BR of the Fox-3-equipped jets. Lowering the premium F-18s’ BR isn’t an option, as they’d become overpowered. Alternatively, you could remove two AIM-7s and put them at the same BR as the F-18A, but that would be a lazy solution that wouldn’t actually solve anything. Yes premium flankers are very undertiered
but gaijin has said they’re not moving up until we get a br increase
Things are way too compressed in ARB right now hopefully when new BRs are introduced we will see some decompression.
Moving those Su-30s into 14.0 shall solve most issues
They aren’t 14.0 material with current top br
Under BR’d? yes. 14.0 worthy? god no.

The issue is that the Su-30MK2 and MKK will perform just fine at 13.7 with no issues (unless you’re a premium noob)
and vehicles like Su-27SM are no excuse for keeping them there since the Su-27SM is easily 14.0 material right now without needing to increase max br
I guess my point is decompress then move to 13.7. As is they should never see a Rafale.

Both choices are bad.
Decompression is one of the most requested things by the community and I really don’t think it would be that difficult. There have been multiple decent proposals and it would fix more than just one thing.

We are all in an abusive relationship with SU30.
Just my opinion. You are entitled to yours, I’m entitled to mine.
But let’s be honest, if gaijin really wanted to they could get a pretty decent decompression done overnight in one patch.
They have all the data to do it.
The premium Su-30s are intentionally they way they are because it is more profitable for the company to have them under BR’d vs. over BR’d
Also last I checked the K/D of the premium Su-30s was really bad. But that has more to do with the player than the vehicle.
That’s a fact, half of them don’t even turn cold or notch after getting their missiles to pitbull range on the first volleys 😂
