Hello, the new F16I Sufa uses the same engine as the US F15E. Normally the thrust values should be the same as that engine Both use the PW F100-229 engine. However, the engine thrust values of the F16I Sufa are higher than the thrust values of the F15E (one of its engines). When all the modifications are made and compared, the values of the F16I Sufa are higher. Normally, shouldn’t these be the same as the F15E’s? Since both aircraft have the same engine, shouldn’t their thrust be the same?
And when I report an error, the report is closed because of insufficient resources, but the resource ap is open, the game itself is the same engine but different driving forces and they do not accept this.
Something something channel loss
And many sources on the internet show that both planes use the same engines and that their thrust power is 13.226 kp with afterburner and 8073 kp without afterburner, but when we look at the game, while the maximum thrust power for the F16i is 10852 kp with modifications, this figure is 10522 kp for the F15e. In other words, not only are the thrust power of the two planes not the same, but it also does not match the values stated in real-life sources.
generally, engines in single-engine aircraft tend to generate more thrust, even if they are already known engines, when they are placed in single-engine aircraft, they usually modify them so that they generate more thrust
if you want that report to have a chance of going through you need to word it like this one:

Ok but I just expressed it in a simpler language using the method you suggested. I stated that both planes use the same engine but the thrust power of the F16I is higher even though the engines are the same. In order for it to be accepted, I also stated that the engines in the photos are the same but the thrust vectors are different, but it was not accepted. Where did I go wrong?
you need to be very clear and need to convince the bug reporting manager that you dont need any extra documents it also depends on who the person is that is looking at your report
I heard this from you for the first time. I will check if it is true, but what confused me is that normally there are two types of engines in F16s, one is a bit more powerful than the other. The easiest way to understand this is to look at the size of the air intake sections. Now, the air intake sections of F16a and ADF are small. From here, it is understood that they use PW F100-PW-220, which have weaker engines. The thrust is also lower compared to that. But if you look at the F16i’s, the air intake section is small, but you look at it and there are more powerful engines. This is a bit confusing.
When I heard what my friend above said, it occurred to me that this situation could actually be normal. It makes sense if the engine of single-engine aircraft is modified for a little more thrust, but I couldn’t find a source on the internet about this. In the sources, I see that the thrust of the F16i engine is the same as the thrust of the F15e. When I researched this, I found that this raises additional suspicion in me.
it has the same uninstalled thrust
when engines are mounted inside an airframe the thrust is affected by the geometry of the air intake
this is called channel loss
and different airframes have different ammounts of channel loss
I’m learning new things, thank you for the information, I didn’t know that either.
It’s the same as naval or navalized aircraft, the engines are modified to generate more thrust.
The same principle applies to single engine aircraft.
There are some classic examples within the game like the j10A engine vs the su27sm engine.
or the gripenC engine vs f18C MLU2
the AL-31FN and AL-31F-M1 are completly different modifications
the AL-31FN is a domestic upgrade that china made
and the AL-31F-M1 is a upgrade that incoperated stuff from the AL-41 into the Al-31
those engines arent compareable to each other at all, as they dont even have the same static thrust

also your J-10 is spaded and the screenshot you took of the AL-31F-M1 was from a stock jet.
spaded Su-27SM:
spaded Su-34:
it is a case of different channel losses the gripen has 2 intakes for a single engine, meaning it gets more air and being able to produce more thrust, it dosent have anything to do with a special modification to the engine, but to the airintake
in pretty much all cases the engine gets more air in single engine aircrafts compared to aircrafts with two engines
I just made the comparison with the SU27SM engine, because it is the AL31 engine with the highest thrust in a twin-engine aircraft.
to show that engines from the same family when used in single-engine aircraft are modified to generate more power.
Every single engine aircraft engine that comes is a version of a twin engine aircraft, the single engine version is always modified to generate more power.
then give me a single source confirming this, saying it applies to every single engine aircraft
your Su-27SM isnt spaded, thats why it has less thrust than your spaded J-10
In the case of the j10C (I don’t know if it applies to the j10b as well), they use a variant of the WS10B/C called the WS10G, which is a variant of the WS10 for single-engine aircraft, which also generates more power.
that is a completly different engine and not a modification of the Al-31
the Al-31 is a engine developed in the late 80s, the WS10 was developed around 15 to 20 years ago
you cant compare to entierly different engines to each other
you are comparing apples to oranges
Gaijin dont give a single fluf about F-16I Engine or the F-16I in general…
they just released it and threw it to 14.0 to make the Rafale players have more things to kill …that’s it
the engines realistically should be more then 10530kgf but Gaijin ignore and want us to give them classified info without giving them the classified info like some Rafael Main players do… nothing happens by chance here… its all intended.
Currently the engine thrust of the f16I is actually unrealistically low. It should make 13K KG of thrust instead of the 10K it makes right now
