F16I Now 14.0 it too weak, how 6 aim120c fight with RFL or SU30SM??? Worse Radar and Worse Body.

Seriously as it stand this is a worse F-16D Barak II (13.3) at 14.0
This jet NEEDS, its Derby or AIM-120A/B. Along with its 360 RWR coverage fixed.

For AirRB,
MAWS is not a big deal. The F-16I is a downgrade from the F-16C, while at a higher BR.
The ground munitions are only relevant for ground which has a different BR system.
No reason to keep the F-16I at 14.0, should be at most 13.7 and even there it would kinda suck

It has strengths and weaknesses compared to the F-16C enough that they should be consider comprable aircraft in performance. Should be 13.7.
Unless… Its being pre-emptively placed at 14.0 because its planned to get Python-4s in the future.

MAW is a pretty huge survivability advantage, and it gets more CM’s

MAWS is useless, Bombs do nothing for ARB, the better engine is useless with its nearly double the normal weight and fuel consumption.

Im not sure where you get this idea.
Maybe in ground/naval battles but in Air RB using MAWS is a quick way to go from 200 countermeasures to 0 without ever seeing a enemy

US mains would freak out if Israel got a 14.3 F-16 and not USA. So USA will get some new stuff before the F-16I gets access to python 4
You are meant to turn auto-countermeasure dispensing off in jets, MAWs is as much of a situational awareness tool as it is s survivability one, auto-CMs are meant for helis and BOL equipped jets, turn it off in anything else
That’s pretty hideous reasoning to massively hinder one aircraft for who knows how long, because another nation isn’t happy about the potential of said jet

I know this, MAWS is no reason for a 13.3 jet to be at 14.0
Thats why I was asking the other user why they thought it was some sort of advantage in jets when in reality its a pretty pointless feature in ARB its more wasteful than helpful when you have 30 jets around you firing off IR/Radar missiles.
