The F100-PW-229 is on the F16CM PoBIT, F15E, F15I Ra’am and F16I Sufa but the F15’s engines are weaker to the F16’s

Are all vehicles spaded? F-15 and F-16 also use different intakes so they have different channel loss percentage
Shouldn’t F-16I and PoBIT have same intake so channel loss percentage should be same and hence same thrust?
Edit: I just saw the image agains and F-16I and PoBIT have same thrust, my bad
Not sure, probably
But he is comparing F-15 to F-16
The F16CM and F15E we’re spaded, my mistake but the F15’s engines are still weaker
Channel loss
F-16 with F-100 PW-229 make a big higher thrust at slower speeds, and the F-15 make higher thrust at high speeds.
At mach 1 at 1000m altitude, the F-15 produces 15745 kgf per engine, while the F-16 does 15247 kgf
The static trust readings while parking both jets against a building and going full power were 10415 kgf for the F-15 and 10720 kgf for the F-16
Conclusion:
If anything, the F-15 has better thrust curves
ok
now explain why the very large intakes with out s ducting or radar blockers on the F15s incur ~20% losses compared to the 5-10% on most aircraft in game
Zero correlation to the comment you replied to 💔
im not an aeronautical engineer
ok
so stop parroting bad terminology like it explains the problem when it doesnt
if you want to say something like that you should be able to explain why it would affect one platform more than others
just because i understand the fundamentals it doesn’t mean that i can explain the physics behind them
if you know that the sky is blue, explain why it is
as I said, you answered with an illogical statement trying to act like there isnt a problem there
and cannot further elaborate
furthermore “channel loss” isnt a real term for the phenomenon and is something almost entirely used describing warthunder or by people who heard it around these forums
what is that supposed to show?
if anything it proves my point, notice what term they are not using?
Is there an issue with using a term that Gaijin itself uses to talk about or describe why things are the way they are in-game?
Just because gaijin uses a more simplified and more descriptive term it means the thing it is referring to obviously doesn’t exist
ah yes because you responding with 2 words that are not a logical explanation when comparing the two different airframes in discussion is clearly not the problem here
uh huh
all i know is F18s channel loss is too low
