F16 models, Block 5, 10, and 15 which don’t have Fox 1’s (E.g Aim 7 sparrows of any kind) they need to be either dropped in BR, or BR should be decompressed. You can see f14D super Tomcats (which have fox3s) or Premium su30’s which all have great BVR, meanwhile your poor f16 has no range other then about 10km-0km range. the Br should get dropped to about, 11.7, 11,3,11.0 OR the BR gets decompressed which allows for the f16a to have a better win rate and be more balanced.

what is it with forum users recently and suggesting powerful late 3rd gens and early 4th gens to go down in BR by a ridiculous amount

People saw the F-15A go down and that set the bar. Now everybody thinks “their’” plane should move down until its on equal footing with what it will face in a maximum up tier and lower BR planes just have to suffer I guess…
But the idea any F-16 should be the same BR as the F-5E or F-104G is utterly insane even by the forums usual standards.

yeah but that’s a .3 BR drop, there’s people on here that want the Su-33 to go down to 12.0, the F-2A to be 12.3, here this kid wants the F-16A to be 11.0, and i even saw some kid say the JAS39C in the british tree should be 12.7
mind you this guy wants ALL F-16 models without FOX1s and FOX3s to go down to 11.0, so that includes the F-16s with Magic 2s and AIM-9Ms
Hell, I don’t think there is anything at 11.0 that would have a chance against an F-16.
yeah, there have always been the occasional ridiculously large BR change requests, but there seems to have been increasing in both frequency and size of those changes since the F-15s down tier.
Im with you there but this needs to be a lesson so OP needs to experience full uptier agasinst 11.0 F-16.

That’s honestly one of the biggest problems with the game as it stands. People claim they’re for decompression but then demand buffs of BR reductions for their aircraft if they’re ever not in the top quartile of performance. They set the bar at the most under-br’d aircraft they see in an upteir and don’t consider for a moment what happens when it’s other vehicles that end up uptiered against theirs.
Compression and decompression are step by step processes and where every time something drops in BR or increases in perdformamce it compresses everything below it, while when something moves up in BR it alleviates some of that compression. But people would rather hold out for some huge top BR increase that hasn’t happened in years than accept that their favourite aircraft will occasionally not get to stomp everything it faces.

if we’re being real the F-16A was an absolute powerhouse before gaijin added the F/A-18s, now that BR range is an absolute mess. the hornets were a mistake, the premiums should never have been a thing and the F/A-18A should’ve been 12.7. now we also have Su-30s, F-14Ds and undertiered mirage 2000s and F-15s to deal with
I mean i legit just got a f16 from me not realsing that i had the workhorse f16a in my inventory, uh so far its fun until you get like 7 matches of uptiers with su30’s and premuim f18s. The 12.3 is sorta messy currently thats why i thought like lowering it slightly (not down to 11.0 now i thibk about it cus thats well TOO much) or like slightly decompress it.
