why does the F15C feel weaker in a dogfight than the A and E it dumps speed like crazy and cant recover at all F15A does it fine same with why does the C feel lethargic
F-15E has better engines and F-15A is more than a ton lighter.

Well f15jm is a f15c as well but it’s also around half a ton lighter than the anerican c as well.

The PEP 2000 upgrade that was the basis of the F-15C added about 272 kg over the F-15A. The rest I assume is from MISP II.
The F-15C’s weight in game isn’t without controversy. There were quite a few bug reports during the initial dev server claiming that the F-15C is half a ton overweight, but the devs denied all of them. There’s also a currently accepted bug report stating that the F-15C family is underperforming in sustained turn compared to real life figures (F-15C Family Significantly Underperforming in Sustained Turn), which might suggest that the in-game F-15C is indeed overweight as that’s one of the factors affecting SEP and hence sustained turn.
