It will still be easier for an F-4J to try and joust against an F-15A than an F-15A jousting against any 4th gen ARH slinger.
Never claimed them to be good, in fact i stated on multiple occasions over the years that I have massive reserves when it comes to air and I still have lot to learn ;)
Said comparison was made to just demonstrate how massive difference in my performance the 0.3 BR shift did. I can only wonder what someone competent can do with F-15A now.
Nonetheless I do think the F-15A shouldnt have gone down and it should have stayed at 13.0 because now it will only cause more problems to 11.7-12.3 planes further down the line, while the obvious issue - top tier being compressed as hell - got minimal attention.

Certainly, aircraft equipped with AIM-7s or R-27ER/Rs might still be able to compete. But how are the others supposed to fight? You’re not seriously suggesting an F-16A could easily take down an F-15A, are you?

12.7 is constant uptiers to 13.7. Haven’t seen a single mig23. This br change was not that impactful tbh.
Certainly, aircraft like the F-111F and Su-25SM3 that are unsuited for air-to-air combat have always been in a delicate position, so nothing has changed there. But for some fighters in BR 12.0~12.7, shooting down an F-15A is absolutely impossible. Unless the opponent is a complete idiot, that is.
And you say the radar is the worst in 13.0, but don’t you know about the MiG-29G?

Every single game is 13.0+ I have yet to have a single F-15A game without 13.0+ planes. The lowest BR I’ve seen was a 12.3 Harrier GR.7 and that has 4 AIM-9Ms.
The F-15A up until it gets AIM-9Ms is on par with everything at it’s BR, especially considering it hardly faces it’s BR or lower.

Yes. I specifically waited to play it until after the BR change.
And the first like 11 games I had with it were all 13.7 up tiers. After that it was 13.0 constantly
I see. Over here, 13.3 is common, 13.7 is occasional, and 13.0 matches are extremely rare.
Honestly, I don’t think the current environment is fair.
I think this opinion has already been mentioned in this thread, but I believe raising the BR of fighters above 13.3 (excluding some aircraft) would have been better than lowering the F-15A’s BR.
F-15A is terrible. The only thing it has going for are its countermeasure count and AAM-3/AIM-9M.
People calling to remove the IRCCM missiles would make it little better than the F-4EJ Kai.
The mirage with magic 2 already swarm 12.0 anyway, so it’s not that scary.
The 9M makes it a side grade to F-18 with the much better 7P.
It’s slightly better than F-4EJ Kai but that is reflected by .4 increase in br.
In fact, F-4S has more Aim-7s than it.
It lacks HMD and missile count of flankers.

The F1C-200 being in BR 12.0 is due to Magic2; its other performance aspects are hardly worthy of 12.0.
And its supposed strengths are the AIM-9M/AAM-3 and the number of countermeasures? Do you not understand the concepts of top speed and high-altitude performance?
Its radar might not be strong, but it has better performance. It’s not SRC PD HDN, and you can move it freely left, right, up, and down.
Some say the 7P-equipped 18C (Early) is superior, but honestly, the Hornets’ BR should be raised, not the F-15A’s lowered.
Tiger tank is THE bomber player. If plane has bombs he will bomb with it.

F-15A can mount ‘FOUR’ AIM-9M. not TWO
AIM-9M → IR seeker missile with IRCCM.
AIM-7P → SARH seeker missile with IOG.

While it needs to demount AIM-9H for it. total missile count is fewer if F-4S gets 6x AIM-7F.
