F14D needs aim120

The current implementation of the premium F-14D Super Tomcat is a massive disappointment compared to other new $80 packs.

First, denying it the AIM-120 is a total double standard. The F-14D airframe was completely wired for the MIL-STD-1760 data bus and was physically capable of carrying the AMRAAM. Gaijin constantly uses “technical feasibility” to balance other nations, yet they are withholding the missile here.

Second, the matchmaker completely contradicts this decision. Multiple jets at the exact same 13.0/13.3 bracket—like the German F-4F ICE, Swedish JA37DI, and British Tornado F.3 Late—all carry true AIM-120s.

Leaving the F-14D stuck with massive, sluggish AIM-54C+ Phoenixes is a joke. The Phoenix is just a basic awareness check. When the F-14D gets inevitably uptiered, it becomes an uncompetitive, massive radar target. It will face the Dutch F-16AM with AMRAAMs, and the new Su-30 premiums slinging actual high-performance ARH missiles.

Paying $80 for an un-upgraded missile boat that serves as free food for true Fox-3s is a total rip-off. If I am dropping top-tier money, I want a competitive aircraft, not a pay-to-lose trap.

My take is that it should be 13.3 with proper Aim-54C+s, and 13.7 with Aim-120s. Ideally we would have both with one being a premium, and the other being TT.

Just by you saying this im assuming youre at best yellow on statshark, youre likely the same crowd that demands AMRAAMs on premium hornet since you are mentally incapable of making it work

FM is just as important as the missiles.

You dont have single TT plane over rank 3, and you havent played a battle with plane armed with IRs let alone SARHs or ARHs, you literally have no idea what you are talking about lol
