Since the f14b got foldered i want my 200k rp from pre folder so we can put it into something else

Sadly, this didn’t occur for literally any prior foldering, so it is highly unlikely they’ll start now.
Pretty damn dumb they give ge back or sl back for modifications they remove

The reason for that is because it’s getting entirely removed from the mod menu, it’s not like they’re giving everyone the F-14B immediately as they hit US top tier
Well they should still give it back for everything foldered

I bought a chainsaw and the price dropped by about $100 the next week. Sucks, but what can you do? The F-14B is still there to research and while it’s a bit of a pain you don’t actually lose anything, if you only want the next plane think of it as saving the next 200k RP and the 1.5mil SL that you would need if it wasn’t folded.

I never said the B was gone, also I don’t own either TT tomcat (though I do have the IRIAF) I’m more focused on the F-18A rn
My analogy with the vacuum going on sale is meant to represent the drop in RP requirement, it’s like how over time the price of an outdated CPU is going to go down. Just because said CPU went down in price doesn’t mean that you’re getting the money you payed back, it’s something you know can happen eventually and you go into said investment knowing that. That’s what I’m trying to use the analogy for on the Tomcat, you research it knowing that one day it can go up in BR, have its purchase price lowered, have its RP cost lowered, lose certain missiles due to inaccuracy, or be removed alltogether for being paper. None of these are meant to be specific to the Tomcat, but it still applies to it nevertheless (nevermore autocorrect?)

I am thinking about grinding the F-18C but they will probably folder it once F-18E joins the tree, but on the other hand the top tier research bonus would be useful…
Honestly just go for it, I feel like the A and C will remain standalone for a long while and the E/F will likely be foldered together if we get both at once. Besides, in the F-14B’s case it’s kinda just a minor upgrade, as opposed to what the F-18C amd F-18E would he, seeing as they’re completely different airframes (to a degree)
Yeah, but the rules of 3 vehicles max per line at any rank means that something at Rank 8 naval fighter line will have to be foldered when they add the Super Bug (most likely 18C gets foldered with 18A), unless they put 18E behind the Harrier.
And we should lock vehicles that you already unlocked, but they were moved up and their RP/SL requirement increase?
We do not do this here, same as there is no compensation if vehicle price/rp requirement goes down.
You have unlocked vehicle when it cost X SL/RP and you could use it since then.
