And the aim120 just go for the missiles and no for the opponents they need to add a something like the ground radars to only loock small targets or big targets missiles, the only way than you can get out of stock F/A18 (+14.0) is bombing the basases or get a 1 lucky kill, is hard untill you get the gbus and works better in grb
It has that BR because of the loadout it carries, but it can’t use it even 50% as effectively as any other 14.3 with the same weaponry. Gameplay wise, I think everyone would rather face a Hornet or Super Hornet with AMRAAMs than any of the new 13.3 or 13.7, literally any mach 2 jet with AMRAAMs in 13.3 or 13.7 is more a threat than a Super Hornet, let alone the 14.0 Hornets; should be 13.7 tops when compared to others in the same BR.
However, no 13.7 we have in game should be facing 12.7 anyways so I think the only viable yet distant solution would be to wait 2-3 years until the new gen jets are more than 1 BR away from the Hornets to be somewhat enjoyable.
That’s actually the case, both in real life and in-game. In reality, without datalink and AWACS support, this thing is a useless invention in a dogfight (WVR).

I believe Hornets and the Super Hornet are suffering from abysmal compression at top tier right now.
Most of AESA radars should be at least two BRs above mechanicals, if not an entire BR level, moreso considering the current matchmaker. The Super Hornet could still be just a step below due to its raw performance, but still, the point is made.
It is mostly a matter of compression. And so frames from other nations also suffer from it.

You know its only thing i see why us tree so bad now. Becuase Russian dev want us to leak document LOL. SM2 now so god at toptier like Rafale. I gess F22 will get a nerf like another US jet when its come.
And if russian player siad “its your skill issue”. This is proof i try to play deadly. But in many game it show how SU30SM2 perform overpower. Its away get hight kill in every match. And now Super Hornet didnt got a proper BR its should be. Meanwhile Gripen E got only 14.0 BR but it have a good all performane then Super Hornet. thats so creepy.

All I’m gonna say is the super hornet definitely takes more skill to play than almost all other planes at its BR, due to being so slow. Other planes have the avionics, missiles and flight performance to “carry” them.
I feel like if everyone else has them, it’s a lot less one vehicle being carried and a lot more one vehicle being left to die in the dust like a classic John Wayne Western.

Just need to make fa18c 13.7 and then fa18e go 14.0.
FA18E(and fa18c) just too slow thus can’t give it’s missile a good launch speed,lead to missile less efficiency (no to mention the difference between aim120c and those better missile like mica and r77-1)

I’d rather have decompression (or just the F/A-18E going to 14.0) than putting the F-18C late within MM range of the C early.
Hopefully Gaijin will move the AESA equipped planes to 14.7/15.0 to give the lower aircraft some breathing room soon, but I’m concerned it may not happen.

Respectfully, no. They should be where their at because rank 9 is coming, other airframes should move up to 14.7 and higher if those battle ratings appear too!
We can not have an overloaded or cluster of ARH platforms still being able to face 12.7/13.0 which is certainly worse. Like 13.3-13.7 needs to move airframes out into 13.7-14.0 instead of moving airframes from 14.3-14.0 back into those BRs.
Rank 9 is confirmed to be coming so we dont have to worry about the hornet’s br placement, as long as they don’t push it higher that is
