Usually imo u need 3 chaffs per missile. Each spaced out around 1 second
Notching will always work until they correctly model radars. Especially for ARH missiles.
The main problem is you’re at 35,000 feet trying to defend subsonically against the best energy sustaining ARH in the game not by notching. You’re like a prime target for ANY missile to hit you.

also explain me how am i supposed to dodge missiles coming from different directions at the same time? my RWR sucks and i can’t determine which missile is more near of me so i know which one should i try to fool first.
i have 74 chaffs in my Su-30SM.
looks like 74 chaffs isn’t enough to dodge 10 AMRAAMS coming from a Hornet, or even a simple and underrated AIM-120C-5.
i even start notching before enemy planes start launching missiles at me so im already prepared, and anyway they hit me like chaff is nothing.
If you’re asking these questions on the forums, you clearly haven’t watched/read enough guides.
