there’s a lot of doodoo going on with premium planes
like kfir c2 retaining energy and tanking whole r24s and surviving or su25’s having the hardest hitting gun in the game which laughs at the 30mm gatling gun on the mig27 with triple the fire rate.
F-4C phantom ii has an IRST pod in the chin and it doesn’t have a function in the game. It can be really useful to track down hidden enemies from above without pinging them and enslaving the missiles.
MiG21 bis on it’s release was very similar to the j7e in slow speed dogfights but got nurfed quite hard
MiG19 is still underperforming and should get more slow speed AOA below 600ias
mirage f1c is absolutely castrated god knows why

That’s not an IRST pod.
J-7E came out years after Mig-21Bis, so that’s not possible.

You’ll notice there’s nothing for IRST to see through on the cone.
you can’t see either the IRST sensor on the MiG23 ML nor the F-8E
irst sensors don’t necessarily rely on infrared imaging; they can just as well use similar technology as what the missiles use, for example r60s and naval sidewinders are blind; in fact it was only til not long ago when irst sensors used optical imagery (as such does the aim-9x, it’s literally guided by an infrared camera with a gimbal) and the “later it housed an rwr antenna” refers to the further modifications applied on the f-4d; of which the chin is not a ship keel’s cucumber part, but a narrower shorter tip with a lower bulge on the root full of pimples. That one IS the rwr antenna upgrade.
Note how the image shows the previous sensor pod. This is, the IRST header.
The frontal RWR on the F-4C as well as the side aspect receivers were mounted on each corner of the wingtips, and the back aspect in the tail cone, making the kawaii smiley.

Firefly has mk8, which allows it to stay 4.7, thus isn’t missing anything.

…? If you’re hitting mach 2 in a match you are at high altitude and not on the deck, being at mach 2 in war thunder is pretty rare and thus not really relevant

This is objectively false. The M26 Pershing and M36 GMC are both missing the supercharged M82, while the M36 is also missing T33. The T32, T32E1 and M26E1 are missing the T50, which was developed specifically for the long 90mm.

i would like to see the “supercharged M82 shell” on these tanks, i think it would be a good addition. BTW would the super hellcat get it as well? it is one of my favorite vehicles.

It depends on Gaijin. The Super Hellcat and T26E5 were both around when the supercharged M82 was developed but who knows if Gaijin will consider that. The upside is the T-34-100 and T-44-100 both get the BR412D despite that round being developed after both projects were scrapped.
Imo t-34-100 needs it it should be a 5.3 vehicle not 6.3 but thats another topic for another day, its an abysmal vehicle. it has like 2* depression with paper armor, it should be same br as hellcats at least.
In DT10’s defense [or whatever the 100mm gun is called], BR412B is the best round.

F-5Cs in American service never used flares or Chaff what don’t you understand? The main discussion is the American F-5C not any other F-5. The MiG-23BN could carry flares but lacks them in-game but obviously the premium vehicle gets them (cash grab).
Good F-5C pilots win against bad Mig-21 & Mirage pilots
Level 20 F-5C players are equivalent to Level 80 Mirage pilots.
