F-5C Flares need to be removed. It is FICTIONAL

More like lacks flares, because 9E is same as 9B in flight perfomance

9E is longer range no?

just no lol

If the designation of the plane is not F-5C, then it is not an F-5C. Should be a simple thing to understand, no?

Some, but mostly trouble not in energy for 9B

Those are NF-5As which [checks notes] are not F-5Cs.

So you want Mig-19S, T-2, Mig-23BN, Ariete, Milan, Su-7BMK, Mig-21SPSK and 21S, J35A, F-100D/A… all to be 10.3 as well?
At least the flareless F-5A equivalents.

@ShermyDragon @Flame2512
That’s not how physics works.
That’s also what’s known as a pedantic/semantic argument.
Cause your claims also mean F-15J isn’t an F-15C just cause it’s named differently.

I posted all the way at the beginning of this topic a picture of Norwegian F-5A (which to my knowledge is closest thing to USAF F-5C) with ALE-40 equipped

Its not an F-15C because the Electronics are different, and later they have further differences in configuration and stores availability and that they are assembled from parts kits in Japan under license.

The F-5C also has additional ceramic armor plates added and other minor wiring differences from the F-5A.

Which means nothing in Warthunder, same goes for F-15J’s electronics as well.

The exclusive notable difference between F-15C and F-15J is the flare controls.
Flares are the same, flare buckets are the same… it’s the module in the cockpit that’s different.

At this point maybe, but in future the J/APQ-1 and asorted other actual differences (Like access to the MJU-47 / -50 / -51 for example) may be modeled.

Thanks

F-4E (68-0507) and (68-0532) TAM, June 1978 at RAF Wildenrath.

The ALE-40 countermeasure dispenser is visible via red circle near the back pylon of the right F-4E.

Yes it was a Mod done in 1977

All this b… Gaijin makes the chance now F-5C is the same BR as F-5E at BR 11

No speed

No radar

RWR working only back

No CCIP for Cannon, Bomb,Rockets

With the price of 64.99EUR only 10 EUR less than F-20A Tigershark no wonder ppl wake up and don’t spend money in the game. Buy a premium Vehicle so you can play it 2 years and then Nerfhammer makes it just ops elite

And for ppl crying here for F-5C not having Flars I said it before you will be happy if they changed the name for so many other upgraded F-5 with flares F-5s had extension use in the entire globe with many of them being upgraded to the extreme.

Tbh, i dont mind it having flares even tho what it the vehicle tries to represent did not in fact use the flare dispensers.

I think it would be cool from a vehicle uniqueness perspective that it is accurate to the 12 aircraft it tries to represent.

If a vehicle tries to be a specific version of a vehicle i think it ideally should be akkurate to that vehicle. Same way the Swedish Tiger is accurate to how that vehicle was and is not some generic Tiger 2 p like the one in the germab tech tree.

I mean, T-2 is 9.7 with Aim-9J. Given the performance similarities and differences between it and the F-5C (without flares), that would seem like a reasonable assumption.

The F-1 goes to 10.3 just because it got more Aim-9J and CCIP.

Tbh the T-2 is probably more favorable at 9.7 than a flareless F-5C just because of the missiles together with nose authority.

Ur delusional. Its obviously a cracked and OP flight model, and it has been for years

He mentions that both plane sits at same br while one of them is objectively worse in almost every way.

He’s right about that.
