F-4S Phantom II should get AIM-9L

,

R-27R have, AIM-7F havent

In game - basicly you cant fire it with 100% hit chance even on straight flying target with over 40km, because game lacks of indication(for 7M and 7F it must be, but not sure thats on F-4, at least on US)

it doesnt you need a full lock to guided it, if you loose it the ins kicks in but you cant guided with just the data link, otherwise you could use the tws update the guidance while it cant, currently the dl only helps when you try to reconnect.

Reconnect - still datalink, in some other way and unrealistic (irl you cant reconnect R-27R with plane, if missile/carrier lost a lock and if it locked (by SARH seeker, and after that lost))

still doesnt have mid range dl guidance, unlike what you claimed.

I didnt claimed that it can be guided by tws.
Only that it have datalink at all, and can help with reaching seeker lock(which also gives chances to hit into cold)

again the data link cant guide on the r27.

basicly it guiding, until seeker lock
Datalink is not only update of point by TWS(R-27 have same, but from Hard lock)

it does not provide any guidance, it is not “basically guiding it” by any means…

Updates IOG point, same as fox-3 guides in game.

it does not.

F-4EJ should also have AIM-9L, and EJ Kai AAM-3.

It is, otherwise it will not be in game at all

Kind of, but 11.3 on F-4 without doppler and with 7E … sounds fun?
Maybe F-4F from TT also

AAM-3 will kill EJ Kai because of BR

Believe me, the 11.0 JPN F-4 isn’t fun at the least. Without doppler, you may as well not have radar, so the 7Es (which are already mid, not E-2s) are near-useless to the point where AIM-9Ls shouldn’t drag its BR up by .3

And doubtful, EJ Kai is already one of the least maneuverable phantoms ingame at 11.7.
For reference, there’s already F-14a with six Phoenixes (now godly BVR missiles) at the same BR, which makes it look like a joke in comparison. AAM-3s on such a bad platform won’t change BR unless actual decompression happens.

11.0 with 9L - kinda op, and kinda simmilar - Kurnass 2K sits on 11.3

AAM-3 might change a lot, even with F-4 airframe, just because of IRCCM on missiles. Or wheres F-15A at 12.0/11.7?

Kurnass 2K gets Python 3s, and six of them, leaps and bounds above 9Ls, as well as the Agile Eagle slats making it much more maneuverable.

And will being given IRCCM (once again, on a hardbody Phantom frame) really change that much? The EJ Kai doesn’t have a crapton of flares like the F-14 or F-15, downright will not win in a dogfight (the only use case for current IRs being CQC) and even then, is much worse at BVR than both (maneuverability and comparative lack of TWR making notching take longer, less countermeasures, etc)

No difference in seeker between 9L and Python 3. Basicly just a fat 9L
Yes, theyre 6, but it must not cost of 0.3 br with addition of some maneuvrebility(0.2 deg/s lol)

It will
Basicly it on same/near level of performance with F-14A
Because of better radar, rwr, 9Ls, more CMs, and F-4 not so horny, but worser Frame and no AIM-54

Giving it IRCCM misiles - might result a 12.0, if not 12.3

AAM-3 it is better 9M, with all the consequences on perfomance(and theres more difference than 9L and Python 3).

TWR not matter for notch.

Yes flying brick without all-aspect IR-missiles, when fighters from other research trees get them at 11.0.

As i know at 11.0 it’s only soviets
Trouble not in 4EJ, trouble in 23M and 21Bis

4 good SARH missiles with new Multipath of 60m, 4 decent IR missles with decent CM ressitance, HMD with 19km of ACM mode, radar with full control, good RWR that can detect J band, good gun with enough ammo to miss as much as you want (as they normally do, with 10 seconds of sustained fire), CAS load does not interfere with A2A load, decent ammount of CM, good fly perfomance at 11.3… Yeah they dont need them
