I don’t think 11.7 would make a big difference. Either it should get better missiles or be moved to 11.3 like the USA F-4E, which is basically the same aircraft with US missiles that perform similarly.

Yes, the F-4J UK should be 11.7 and ending everything on 12.3 and higher to a higher place would be better, though. That would be a perfect solution.

The difference is radar. F4E lacks PD mode, which means it cannot engage a target below around 2000 ft.
F4J does have PD which means it can engage targets as low as 100 ft. That is the difference between them

JA37C stuck with 2x Skyflash while F-4J(UK) can fire 4x skyflash in total
So, I don’t think JUK should be 11.3BR and tie with 37C viggen.
(As you know, OP wanted to send JUK into 11.3BR)
Maybe it is because of a balance reason?
iirc, there are tons of missiles with conical scanning seeker, so maybe Gaijin thought making them into inverse-monopulse standard would be better for gameplay-wise

Junk also doesnt have slats so it doesnt turn at all and doesnt have TWS. Viggen turns much better, have better radar and also have large CMs.

and tie their stat along with F-4J/S(US)
Even though that F-4J(UK) is worst 12.0BR PD phantom
-Don’t have Spey engine which F-4K/M(FG.1/FGR.2), but using skyflash
-Have normal J79 engine which F-4J/S uses, but not having AIM-7F
combined the bad parts of two regular PD phantoms
But BR is staying the same as normal F-4J does.
Gaijin might think not having USA weaponry is just ‘sidegrading’

The solution is easy: give it 9L
It lacks 7F, HMS and the better RWR… So 9L’s would be at least some compensation. Also, the UK had 9L’s in 1982 (Falklands War), and they got the F-4J(UK) in 1984. So why wouldn’t it have 9L’s?!?

AIM-9Ls wouldnt change much. I feel like it could go down to 11.7 and get AIM-9Ls that would be a fair trade. The F-4M/K should get 9Ls too but stay at 12.0

compression sucks. No one is denying that fact and yes… moving it from 12.0 to 11.7 would only partially help as it would still be facing F-18s and F-15s and yes the 12.7 premium blackhole would still drag it up most of the time. But at least it would be facing far less fox-3s as it could no longer see 13.0s. It would be a small victory and more importantly, acknowledgement that it is not an equal to the other Phantoms at 12.0, even the TT Phantoms, which whilst still weaker than the US Phantoms, are notably superior to the F4JUNK.
11.7 is the most it could move down currently due to both the F-4E and Viggen C being at 11.3. That is the best case scenario for now until either
A) they bring the F-4JUNK’s loadout on par with the other Phantoms by adding Aim-7F or Skyflash SuperTEMPs
and/or
B) Properly and thoroughly decompressing the game.
But neither option nor the BR reduction is likely to ever actually happen because Gaijin doesnt care

Nah. The short-term Solution is Aim-7F or Skylfash SuperTEMPs and napalm.
Gaijin would probably slap the F4JUNK at 12.3 just because it had 9Ls (despite how stupid that would actually be)
But no solution is a good solution until we see proper decompression
