I’ve been flying the F-2A for a couple months now and I’m about to get the F-15J(M). What can I expect for the F-15? It seems the air loadout is similar but the f15 can carry 4 more aim120s and should be able to BVR better even though it has to compete with eurofighters and rafales. Assuming I play at treetop level, would the only difference be that I have HMD now but worser FM? And what abt the radar differences? Lastly, what are your thoughts on flying both planes in terms of enjoyment? I’m having alot of fun in the F2-A but idk if I feel like the F-15J(M) will feel like a letdown. Thanks.
F15JM is much better, better missiles, more missiles, have hmd, more fast, i have F2 too, but no HMD and trash stock grind

It dosent have more missiles
It has the exact same ammount as the F-2
And the f-2 gets a way better radar than the f15
With half the enemy team dying in the first 2 minutes cause of BVR, there are times when I can’t get any kills by BVR behind the F15E, Euros, and Rafales. Playing at treetop means I can multipath easily and dogfight more often in the F-2. Not sure how the F15 will do but we will see.
@Военный_Красный Sure it’s better in all that aspect, but many of my games in the F-2A involve merges since I tend to flank often resulting in more 1V1s. The FM of the F-2A allows me to turn tighter, i don’t think the F-15 will give me much nose authority as the F-2A. Do let me know if your experience is different from what I imagine will happen.
@ron_23 The radar of the F-2A is AESA fast which is really good at 13.7. If F-15 lacks in that area, then the F-2A seems to be better just albeit slower and no HMD.
Not being glued to the ground is not just about BVR. You get better visibility and more options to both attack ans defend.
