my issue is with the TWS radar on the F-18C Finland plane, it works fine at 74km range, but if I have to notch then come back and try to lock plane I see in the sky just before me, but out of the ACM PD reach, like between 20-25kms, the TWS very often doesn’t pick back the planes.
Meaning I can’t lock anything in this situation in this range, and I have to wait until the ennemies are in my 19km ACM PD reach to launch a missile, while they already sent their missiles onto me during this time.
Is that a bug from the radar on this plane or is it something I’m not doing properly?

Radar antenae doesnt reset automatically now, you have to keybind.

If something is locked up on tws the keybind doesnt work at least in my expierence, so you have to shutdown the radar entirely and then back on and then hit the keybind.

Is shutting it off and on again works?
You mean the key bind to swap locked targets?
There is nothing to do when targets on TWS start to disappear and not picking up, except cycling back to SRC PD but doing that makes BVR management unbearable. I don’t even know this is a bug or feature, it just makes me feel so disconnected from top tier ARB.
Just how is that an improved system?

They gave it to the F18C Finland too… it’s really unsteady and often unreliable as it doesn’t pick up anything when you switch it up.
Also it happens too often the ACM PD doesn’t pick up neither a target just 5km before my nose, forbidding me to retaliate and making me lose frags.
Is that as messy on other top tier planes too or only with this plane?

I just found out I already keybound it and pressed the button and it was still not picking up, lol
Ive been having.issues with TWS in all planes since Hornets Sting…worst update ever, so many bugs.
