Thank you. I thought I was crazy.
Crazy? I was crazy once
😂😂😂
FR, I hope they fix it because it has such potential.
Yeah, at least you can use the Barak II D/C as a close range gremlin and kill EF2K’s in close range, or use the AMRAAMs for BVR in the case of the C variant.
Honestly the Baraks are really fun to play, and I really expected the Sufa to be a further technological improvement, being able to engage in both playstyles mentioned before, however nothing has been done to actually model the Sufa correctly, the 360 RWR coverage is still missing, there seems no attempt to add the Derby, the AIM-120C-5 isn’t as much as an improvement as it should really be, the cockpit RWR doesn’t work, it still uses the JHMCS instead of the DASH IV, etc.
I feel the Sufa will be left out just like the Merkava’s, but eh, that’s just my opinion.
Yeah, it’s mainly a seeker head problem, I don’t really know how it could be fixed or reported, as it would require a source most likely.
I did a topic about it with a video example. Derby/R-Darter overcorrecting problems - Game Discussion / Realistic Battle - War Thunder — official forum
I think it was fixed in the new update
I tried to test drive and not once it lost track from high g manuver
Its still needs to be buffed in ranage and seeker but atleast it can do “furrball fighting”
I hope sufa can get it cuz all tho there isnt an evidnace of sufa carrying the derby it known to take pretty much everything in iaf arsenal which ofc includes derby
It was a bug cuz no other fox 3 has that but i think it fixed now
I don’t think so, at least not fully. This video here was from this update
Looks like multipath
Not at all, he was probably flying at 200m or higher, multipath only affects the missile course when it gets very near the impact location.
He didn’t notch properly either in relation to the missile. The missile lost track for a fraction of a second but that didn’t matter really
Its either mp or notch cuz the seeker issue come to effect in high of board shots not like that
I watched it again its clearly a notch
The missile was tracking him and did not switch to IOG/DL, he didn’t notch properly, the missile was leading too far in front of him and when he turned the other way around, the missile could not catch up/turn enough and flew behind him because of the overleading.
I saw it from the su-33 POV to confirm
The rac view is bugged
U can see clearly the seeker turning grey and he is in a notch
I have that video at 0.5x speed. The seeker turned gray and regained track very quickly, it would not impact the missile path by just losing the correct tracking for a fraction of a second. He did a panic spin while chaffing and that’s where the missile turned grey but since it was not a proper notch the missile kept tracking right after.
I posted the replay link there if you want to check it out Derby/R-Darter Over Leading Problem - Game Discussion / Realistic Battle - War Thunder — official forum
gaijin knows f-16i can use aim-120b.
they just don’t want to add it to it for some reason.
Again
The tac view is bugged
He ntched and and kept turning while the missile was on iog and yes it wasent for a long time but it was enough that the missile will “overlead” cuz the iog showed the enemy will keep going and not keep turning
This can happend to all fox 3 not just derby
Stanky plane.
