F-16I Sufa: The Negev Storm

at this point its just an F-16D with “slightly” better ARH missiles, better RWR, (maybe) radar, and with SPICE 250’s. i wouldnt really call it unique unless it gets a Python 4.

i think its cool how they butchered this jet lmao.
the kh38s got their range almost doubled to 70km yet this thing ONLY get guided bombs.
couldve have atleast give it some of its ground missiles(popeye lite or rampage) even if theyre nerfed to a certain extent.

i will take derby over 120c5 cuz u wouldnt do bvr with it anyway against the f15e and ef2k
so its just f16d with better avionics and worse armament

14.0 and 13.0 are not comparable at all

It could be

Italian Eurofighters were exhibited with Brimstones as possible armament.

While the plane looks amazing, I think it came in way too early

As it stands currently, it lacks any of the weapons that would differentiate it from any other F-16s in the Israeli TT (especially since the Baraks got the SPICE bombs). The AIM-120C-5 is also a massive downgrade over even the Derby as it not only turns worse but bleeds significantly more speed during turns compared to any other ARH missile, making it the worst missile for air rb. (So it would be very benefitial if it got the AIM-120A/B)

And sure, the Spice 250 is cool but it isn’t even the ER variant and since it has an IR seeker it is impossible to use its GNSS guidance mode

(Also would appreciate if you could take a look at this report regarding SPICE series of bombs missing laser guidance Community Bug Reporting System )

It isnt too early
Nerfed python 4 for with 120 is very much on par with other thing is the game
Ppl who thinks that a 14.3 and even14.0 jets will struggle against a sufa with python 4 are either baised or delusional

Awful take.
For 1v1 to be even remotely useful information you’d need to make sure both players have the same skill level.

Even with that, ARB is a 16v16 mode, so 1v1s are far from the only thing that can happen there.

dont worry am a duelist and i know 2 really good tournament players and also duelists that they are really excited to do this match, BVR and BFM combat.

You still haven’t proved you have same skill level as them. And my point about making statements about ARB from 1v1s still stands.

eh? if i know them is because i play with them they would not be accepting a match if they consider that the player does not offer a challenge to them, you dont know how tournament players or duelists are?, and yes in the way we do the BVR and BFM combat you can see how the jets performs in every regard i can even talk with them to do a more realistic representation of an ARB match with 6 good players in 6 superior jets in the other side against 1 SUFA and a good player if that will suffice you, in this way you will see how the sufa performs in a way more hostile and unfair envirovment, nothing better than that right mate. anyways this is becoming off topic soo… lets go back to the main point. the addition of the Python-4.

Those are Brimstone 2s, the main point was that Eurofighters never carried Brimstone 1s, which is similar to the Sufa getting Sidewinders, which it apparently never carried IRL

As for them being on an Italian EFT, Italy doesn’t use Brimstone 2s. IF Gaijin wanted to keep it entirely historical, Italy wouldn’t have Brimstones on their EFT ingame

just dropping my 2 cents:

something to remark “the less capable 9X” part its in relation that the Python-4 has a superior overload (70G) for being a non TVC missile but this would only can be acomplished in game if gaijin implements the dual axis manouvrability thing that it was confirmed by smin that its not happening any time soon, in game terms the 9X Block 1 would take the lead in technology and in performance (Maximum G load, kinematics, etc) we can already see this with 9X Block 2 and Python-5, the only way for the Python-5 to surpass in performance the 9X Block 2 is if they introduce dual axis and the variable thrust capability to the Python-5 and we know that this is not happening. Python-4 and 5 cannot archieve its maximum performance because of this it happens the same with the AAM-3 and Magic-2 for example.

9x rn if you put it on a jet its 2x better than the r73
P4 rn despite not being fully capable and missing its proper weight values and fm would still be better than the r73 but not by a big margin
I would imagine it turning like a magic 2 and going at a speed of mach 3 on average or more depending on the drag values
Though dual plane axis would make the missile extremely good

Good evening everyone,
Has anyone actually written a report about the CFTs yet? As they are now, it doesn’t seem entirely accurate to me. Everywhere I’ve read that CFTs are supposed to be quite efficient, both in terms of the additional fuel (I’m of the opinion that they have quite a small capacity in the game) and their minimal impact on flight characteristics. It’s strange that the external tanks are currently supposed to be many times lighter and have less of an impact on flight characteristics than the tanks designed specifically for this purpose. Let’s just say I’m pretty disappointed…

Found an interview with the literal VP and Head of the air and intelligence division at Rafael, Yuval Miller, and he says the SPICE 250 can be mounted on all 4 pylons of the f-16.

Just found another brochure about spice 250 that explicitly state that it can carry 16 SPICE 250.
