Is the f-16aj in Japan tech tree a Block 10 or 15 ? It just says fighting Falcon on stat card unlike other F-16 that have their block number .
Technically neither cause it’s a test aircraft flown to Japan to show off.
I know it technically isn’t real but I’m currently in a debate about the block #
Closer to Block 10 in FM. (Same in FM)
It’s real, it’s the Block 15 test platform, but before the changes to the airframe.
it’s not.
nope, AJ isnt.
awell as IFF and other stuff
but for some reason gaijin gave it AIM-7.
just a paper plane, isnt it?)
Cause it was the test platform for Block 15, which meant testing AIM-7s.
As for IFF, that was even on Block 10.
not same as block 15 that were using AIM-7.
but for some reason they made ADF then? funny, isnt it?
And, in game F-16AJ has same FM as F-16 block 10 aswell as visual model.
Thanks for agreeing with me that prototypes =/= production aircraft.
As implemented currently Its Block 10.
This is dishonest. Its just a YF-16 that the US simply failed to sell to the Japanese. Its not all a paper airplane, its just that all the public info we have is on that brochure which is why it seems like its a paper aircraft.
Im all for replacing the F-16AJ at some point but dont go around dismissing it as JUST a paper aircraft. It exists so much more than the R2Y2 or the R2Y3 (R2Y1 was real).
