It’s actually fine at 4.0, but people don’t really know how to fight it, and it’s often high ranks abusing it.

Just watch any of your replays in ARB. You would literally do little to actually play defensively, and in one case you not mounting AIM-9Es just to get to base faster in an F-104 lol

this idea is as good as bringing wyverns down in br bc the average k/d is quite lacking…
the f16a has a bad spot and you wont fix the problem by bringing it to br´s where it can win a turnfight in 10-15 seconds, it is already the best turnfighter in its br range, you could increase the overall br and remove some enemies with active radar missiles, but the issue will pretty much stay if it cant do bvr. And giving it bvr is basically the next f16…

dude. STOP! ITS NOT THE PLANES ITS SERIOUSLY JUST YOU. you make posts all the time saying X Y or Z is a problem when its that you’re not a high skill player by any metric at all. F16 flies really well, has decent ordinance and is stunted by a very poor player who uses it as a base bomber (YOU)

Depends on the jet really, on the F-4C before I got fed up with it I brought napalm and 9E almost always (tf does AIM-7D even do lol)
the F4 phantom is a fighter bomber this is a different thing to a f16 or mig 21
I brought mk77 while grinding out better AIM-9 on F-8, and napalm on F-100D and F3H-2
But that’s it for fighters, never brought bombs on F-14 unlike OP lol

I only did when spading harriers because they were unviable until getting some patches. I take AGM 65s just to hit AI targets in the T10 for a little more SL before dogfighting now

Bots don’t miss bases
Anyway, I was playing the ultimate zomber plane. I didn’t mounted missiles on the F-104G because it actually is slower than it looks. Migs are 1350-1450kmh+ planes. With napalms, the 104G can barely reach 1300kmh.
Besides, it’s horrible performance means the you can barely use them, maybe not even AI targets. I consider them not worth the weight gain for my use case.
As for “giving up”. Well, I usually have things to do while playing the game. After the bombing I look forward to get killed so I can move onto the next game faster. (It’s not like you can do much in a 104). I think I had the base bombing task where you had to get 20 bases too.
