F-15I Receiving Standoff Weapons

its so weird why gaijin refrains from adding domestic israeli a-g weapons, its not like spice 250 or spice 1000/2000 is op ,their just glide bombs that use electro optical sights, and they would acts very similar to the ones we have ingame with just quite better resistance to countermeasures and longer range

Give Delilah

250 without SDB2 for example - will be unfair.
Spice 1000/2000 - fine(still better, but not that big difference)

delilah is too op,its literally a cruise missile+it can loiter around it target until thurmerore datalink commands are given by the wso from a f15I raam or f16I sufa, most spaas ingame dont have a counter to it,also its range is 250km+ most ingame maps arent even passing 100km .additionally a duo of players would be able to take out bases long before other players even reach it would be an unfair advantage then u have usa players crying of "unfair advantage with gaijin being gaijin always bottle feeding them ,they will make sure usa would get something better

spice 250 would be just fine, its a literal gbu39 with a TV/IIRlike seeker ,gaijing could just gimp in for the curent time untilmore advanced things are added

It will be fine with GBU-53(ARH+GPS+SALH+IR). But solo - might be unfair

its better israel receives spice 250 right now,we need long range cas option and am not crying for a agm like popeye ,am literllay asking for an iir guided bomb lol

And you can get that in form of SPICE 2000

too big ,i wanna swarm and oversaturate pantsirs with my spice 250s lol

Maybe Nimrod then, the big issue with the F-15I for me is the lack of AGMs like before the E got the 229s there was a tradeoff between better engines and mavericks, now the F-15E is just objectively better right?

Key phrase: in the coming years

None currently

The f15I never carried the nimrod, the only vehicle that primarily carries that missile is the AH-1Cobra

But there have been F-15I airframes equipped with the AN/APG-82 V1, perhaps stick to your own area of expertise since I guarantee you have no documents or evidence to prove your points

Fair, I still think a Delilah nerfed to the same degree as the Brimstone would be fine, just an IR seeker and without the loiter mode, it’s smaller than the AGM-65 and as far as I can see does not come with a triple rail mount so we’re talking 2 Delilah missiles at most on an F-15I. The 250km range hardly matters either considering that the game only lets you target from 20km out, and with a cruise missile engine it’s going to be easier to spot for SPAA anyways when it comes to shooting it down. Honestly Israel needs some domestic weapons soon whatever form that has to take for Gaijin to be satisfied with balance, like with Fox 3s in game it’s probably about time the Python-4 got added because currently the Israeli top tier air tree is just a slightly worse version of the US one, with a slightly worse F-16C, F-15C, and F-15E.

Never coming to the games while american mains remain so vocal on the forums sadly.

Then it should be easy to pull up the FMS report showing they purchased the radar sets, I’ll wait.

don’t speak hebrew and don’t have access to US federal documents, reports will do, from what I can depict the radars arrived around 2020 and were funded under the 2016 10-year arms agreement from the US, there are more sets arriving with the delivery of F-15IA airframes to bring every F-15 in the Israeli fleet up to modern standard, possibly including the single seat models still in service but that’s not known, anyways these articles state that Israel was actively procuring AESA radars as soon as 2016:

Except that those are wrong.

As of AUG 24:
Buying 75 APG-82V1 for it’s fleet of 25 F-15I, and incoming fleet of 50 F-15IA

Cheers, can’t wait to be worse off that america, once again, made my day, thanks again, can’t explain how happy this conversation has made me.

1st The Delilah doesn’t have a huge warhead like the maverick does, but the Delilah is about 9 inches longer, about the same in diameter with almost a 2ft wider wingspan so it’s not exactly “smaller” than a maverick, it’s actually significantly bigger reason being why it can’t hold 3 on a pylon

2nd Just because you won’t be able to lock anything from 250km away doesn’t mean anything, the Delilah is a Loitering munition, you can’t even lock things from that far away With a LITENING III targeting pod IRL, which means it flies to a location using gps guidance, then uses its IR Seeker, or DATA LINK (INS/GPS)making it compatible with ground search radars to guide it to the target

3rd the only way I really see the Delilah being effective…in all honesty, is in SIM, other than that, it would be completely useless, unless gaijin adds 10x10 ground RB maps to the game, with air/CAS spawning 30-40km away from the AO
