Rather than start a new thread, figured I’d ask this here since it’s about the aircraft :
I notice the Ra’am we are getting is missing the ‘Dome’ directly rear of the canopy. Which leads me to ask, are there additional sub-variants of the F-15I?
Going into this, I was expecting this to be the one and only Ra’am. That we’d be using the same aircraft for years to come and Gaijin could gradually give it more modifications over the coming years.
But now do I have to worry about the prospect of this one behind ‘held back’, and we get things like ‘Ra’am Mk2’ and beyond in future ?
I only ask because I was planning on putting a Tali on it and grinding ace, but if there’s a prospect it will just be made obsolete, and not be the endgame addition I thought it was, I might not.

Israeli F-15Is got AESA at some point so that would be our other version. F-15I (late) you could say. Give it Python 4/5, AIM-120C5, cruise missiles and SPICE 250 together with change in 3D model and you have it. These 2 vehicles should be able to carry the same weapons but its always up to Gaijin. Flight model wise F-15I wont be obsolote to potential late model.

I guess gajin could add Python 4 on F-15I for the first major update 2025 but after decompress battle rating to 14.0 or 14.3
And 2026 or 2027 add Python 5 with increase at 14.7
no thank you, i’ll take a Ra’am late, a Ra’am early will be entirely useless compared to the one in game (which is 2000s variant, the late will be a 2010s+ modification with modern avionics and weapons)

F-15I Ra’am from dev server it might late batch. radar, AIM-7, JDAM and AGM-142 Popeye like early batch but used GBU-39/B SDB I mid 2010’s ~ this year, integrated Rafael SPICE guided munitions and armed domestic israel next gen infrared Air-to-Air Missile
Gajin no problem changed next gen targeting pod instead LANTIRN AN/AAQ-14
At present, israel upgraded MLU F-15I Ra’am to F-15IA standard
It’s missing most of the components that would make it a ‘late’, we will get a second ra’am with better weapons and radar at some point, not a worse one
@Smin1080p_WT Sorry for the ping, but it looks like the F15I-Raam won’t be getting any changes to its pod weapons in this patch? And now after the change the F15E will now be a worse version without Mavericks?
welcome to the beautifull world of israely top tier air tt. Same as the US tt but without the actually good stuff, we got the big F16 with worst AAM, we god lowcost F16C without cas stuff, they added the lowcost F15C with a completly useless radar for top tier and now we have the F15E, for cas, BUT without AGM.

Raam have literally zero point in game right now.
F-16 is better in merge fights and dogfights.
K2K is (three times) better attacker.

Do you have any evidence to prove that. The issue of SPICE mounting on f16d was passed a whole year ago, and there is still nothing now (got a gbu39 that can blow up a bunker, wow, how sincere gaijin), is there any channel to prove that SPICE can be released in the next version
Only the new built F-15IAs should have the AESA to the best of my knowledge. F-15Is only have the APG-70I
