It is riddled with the same issues as all israeli tech, it’s from the 80s but is far more advanced than anything that russia has in it’s A-G arsenal in 2024 so the chances of it coming are slim until we can wait for russia to develop something better than the grom

@warthogboy09 his statement is true, they did upgrade the Ra’am and give some of them new radars, I’m assuming they also upgraded their f15A,B,C,D,E with the new ASTRONAUTICS CORPORATION OF AMERICA HUD since a photo of a f15A with a new upgraded HUD was seen a couple years ago,
Arguing with him is pointless given how secretive the Israeli government is with procurement documents, I'd rather just lead him on, give him the answer he wants to hear, that the F-15E will be better than the F-15I (it won't and isn't irl) and then hopefully he will go back to the american threads

I am a US main but If u where to put A 2024 F15E against a 2024 F15I the Israeli Variant has far more extensive upgrades to it and better armament, the F15I is compatible with I-Derby/Aim-120C5 or the even better I-Derby ER thats equivalent to the Aim-120D, GBU-10,12,24,28,31,38,39,53 even the GBU-72(5000lbs)bomb, but also The spice munitions including the Spice 1000/2000/250, AGM-142(Popeye)/Delilah Cruise Missile/Rampage Cruise Missile, Python 4/5, it comes with a Better RWR developed indigenously by Israel, Lantirn/Litening III/Litening Sniper pod, I’m missing a lot of things but Israel essentially strips the us variants they get, and do a massive overhaul, think of it as, the F15-I is the Us F15-EX, And the F15-IA would probably be the next superior f15EX variant

Extensive modification but still, US F-15E has equal radar if not better since we don’t know if the an apg 82 they get is a downgraded export model like it was with the APG-70, and the Delilah cruise missile is outclassed by the AGM-158B, spice bombs are worse than the new gbu’s since some of them get ARH on top of IR and GPS and Laser, USAF F-15E recently got EPAWSS EW suite which at the very least puts us equal to the I in terms of rwr, we also get litening 3 equalivent and lantern, which is literally a US tgp, same with Sniper and it’s upgrades, and we have the AIM-260 coming into service next year.
F-15EX is like current standard USAF strike eagles with boosted capacity and deeper modernization like digital fbw instead of hydraulics. Afaik F-15IA is just F-15I upgraded to EX standard w/ compatibility for Israeli weapons
